A Study On The Intervention Of Case Work In The Correction Of Adolescent Deviant Behavior

Influenced by the whole social environment,the increasing number of deviant behaviours among young people not only does it affect their physical and mental health,but it also poses difficulties and challenges to the progress of society.Being a professional social worker who solves social problems and alleviates social contradictions and helps others,it is crucial to find a reasonable and correct method to correct the deviation behavior of teenagers.As a result of the social worker’s observations,it was found that bad behaviour problems among adolescents were prominent in the community where the worker was practising.The social worker tries to take some measures to correct these problems and used a representative example of a teenager who was willing to change himself to help him develop good habits.Based on the ecosystem theory and strengths perspective,this paper uses observation,interview and casework methods to intervene with adolescents with deviant behaviour,making full use of the strengths of the clients themselves and working with their families,schools and communities to improve their self-confidence while effectively correcting their deviant behaviour.Through casework interventions,in terms of behavior,the client’s deviant behaviors decreased until they no longer occurred;in terms of learning,her attitude toward learning changed,her motivation and confidence in learning increased,and her academic performance improved;in terms of emotions,her negative emotions gradually decreased,and her sense of value for herself increased.The results of the study indicate that casework interventions for adolescents with deviant behaviors based on the ecosystem theory and strengths perspective theory perspectives,using observation,interview,and casework methods,focusing on the deviant behaviors of the subjects in this study,making full use of the caseworkers’ own strengths and starting with their family systems,can improve their self-confidence while effectively correcting their deviant behaviors,thus preventing them from being infected with The study participants’ behavioral problems were not only improved in terms of self-confidence,but also corrected their deviant behaviors,thus preventing them from acquiring bad habits.In terms of behaviors,the deviant behaviors were reduced until they no longer occurred;in terms of learning,attitudes toward learning changed,motivation and confidence in learning increased,and academic performance improved;in terms of emotions,negative emotions gradually decreased,and the sense of value for oneself increased.In addition,this study has problems such as the lack of rich assessment methods and the lack of mature research content.Adolescents with deviant behaviors need the joint participation of multiple parties and the combination of multiple professional methods to further strengthen the effectiveness of social work interventions on adolescents’ deviant behaviors.
