| With the advancement of the strategy of comprehensively governing the country according to law,the construction of the rule of law has gradually attracted great attention from the party and the state.Whether new progress can be made in the construction of the rule of law,the improvement of citizens’ legal literacy is the key.As the mainstay of national construction and social development,whether college students have good legal literacy directly affects the overall level of the whole nation’s legal literacy and is directly related to the development process of rule of law in China.As the forefront of rule of law education,colleges and universities should take the cultivation of young people in the era who meet the needs of socialist development as their mission,and should take the cultivation of high-quality talents with legal literacy and belief in the rule of law as their own responsibility,implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people,and then promote the further development of legal education in colleges and universities.Nowadays,education on the rule of law is getting more and more attention,its status is being improved day by day,and new progress is constantly being made.At this stage,looking back at the development process of rule of law education in colleges and universities,sorting out and summarizing its historical evolution and historical experience,is conducive to better implementing the party’s education policy in the new era and contributing to the cultivation of rule of law talents.Therefore,it is very important and necessary to think and study the process and historical experience of rule of law education in colleges and universities.Based on Marxist rule of law theory,Sinicized Marxist rule of law theory,and Xi Jinping’s important expositions on youth ideological and political education,this paper grasps the development process and experience of rule of law education in colleges and universities since the reform and opening up,and sorts,summarizes and prospects them through literature research,interdisciplinary and historical analysis,so as to complete this research.This paper consists of four parts,the first chapter of which focuses on the research background and purpose,research significance,research status at home and abroad,research methods and innovation points of legal education in colleges and universities.Chapter 2 summarizes the relevant theories of rule of law education in colleges and universities,mainly including the definition of the relevant concepts of rule of law,rule of law education,and rule of law education in colleges and universities,and the theoretical basis of rule of law education in colleges and universities,of which the theoretical basis of rule of law education in colleges and universities mainly focuses on Marxist rule of law theory,Chinese-style Marxist rule of law theory,and Xi Jinping’s important expositions on youth ideological and political education.Chapter 3 mainly sorts out the historical process of legal education in colleges and universities since the reform and opening up,and divides it into stages based on educational goals,which are four stages: the recovery and restart period(1978-1984),the strengthening and improvement period(1985-2002),the pioneering and development period(2002-2014),and the innovation and development period(2014-present),and summarizes the educational objectives,educational content and teaching practices of different stages.Chapter 4 summarizes its achievements based on the combing and division of past history,namely,making the positioning of educational goals clearer,the educational content more rational and realistic,the presentation form of teaching materials more fresh and fresh,and the continuous enrichment and improvement of educational carriers,and summarizing the basic experience of the development of legal education in colleges and universities into the following four points according to the achievements,namely,adhering to the political nature of educational content,insisting on responding to the new requirements of rule of law construction,insisting on playing the role of the main channel of ideological and political courses,and adhering to the combination of moral education and rule of law education.Finally,on the basis of the previous article,in the new era,a new prospect is put forward for the rule of law education in colleges and universities from four aspects: the status of rule of law education is more prominent,the integrated development of rule of law education is deepened,the content of rule of law education is more targeted,and the methods of rule of law education are more innovative. |
