In the context of curriculum reform, unified textbook are being taught nationwide and throughout high schools. The problem of effective connection between compulsory courses and optional compulsory courses in high school history has entered the field of vision of history educators and researchers. The root of this issue lies in that the teaching material style, structure, curriculum content and many other aspects of the two courses are different but intrinsically related, and the students who choose history have the objective need to transition from compulsory history course to optional compulsory history course. For the students who choose to take history in the college entrance examination, the effective connection between the two courses can help fill the gap in their subject content and experience ability at different learning stages. It is necessary and helpful to realize the effective connection between the two courses, whether it is for the need of the college entrance examination to cultivate the core literacy of history and construct the history knowledge system,or for the development of personal literacy in the future. From the perspective of teachers, due to the comprehensive compilation style of optional compulsory course textbooks and the extensive knowledge coverage, construct the historical context of different spatial and temporal dimensions, and advance and expand each other on the basis of compulsory elective courses. The analysis of the current teaching linkage between compulsory and optional compulsory history courses in middle schools shows that the teaching activities of teachers,as the leader and facilitator of bridging teaching, help to connect students’ cognition and history subject content.Based on this, this study tries to explore the teaching path of the two courses from the perspective of bridging teaching and explains it with specific teaching cases : The teaching should set up the overall view of the curriculum, bring the two courses into the confluence track, skillfully use the knowledge points to connect the existing knowledge of students, and realize the teaching progress based on the existing knowledge and accomplishment of students; For the contradiction between the large knowledge capacity and the limited class hours of the unified compilation textbooks, especially the optional compulsory textbooks,we should based on the whole curriculum, focus on the general concept of history to simplify the knowledge content, and make a proper choice in detail; In the cohesion teaching,we should focus on cultivating students’ holistic view of knowledge, constructing knowledge system from points and sides, and setting up big time and space view;In addition,it is also advisable to set up a situation to link the two courses with the problem chain and promote the linking teaching so as to realize the progressive progress of students’ ability.
