| Health education is a basic strategy and an important tool for disease prevention and health promotion.In China’s fight against the new coronary pneumonia epidemic,the malpractices of some individual-centered citizens have made the public health defense more vulnerable.The lack of proper understanding of ethics and laws among citizens is an important cause of these malpractices.It is noteworthy that junior high school students have little ability to discern and control things and are easily influenced by external factors.In the context of a healthy China,health education can be combined with the unique advantages of the middle school Morality and Rule of law curriculum to promote students’ reacquaintance with health knowledge and behavior through the education of moral and rule of law norms and cultivate middle school students’ scientific view of health and values.The author has conducted an in-depth study on health education teaching by reviewing the relevant literature on health education teaching,relying on the junior high school Morality and Rule of Law textbook and combining it with her own internship experience.First,the significance of infiltrating health education in Morality and Rule of Law in junior high school was analyzed from three aspects: promoting the construction of a healthy China,promoting the all-round development of human beings,and improving the effect of classroom teaching,so as to provide theoretical support for the later study.Secondly,the author used questionnaires and interviews to understand the current situation of middle school students’ health literacy and the attitudes and opinions of the teachers of Morality and Law class on the teaching design that incorporates health education.From the current teaching practice,health education in the middle school Morality and Law class has achieved certain results,but due to the teachers’ own low health education literacy,deviations in teaching objectives,inadequate teaching contents,and single and old teaching methods,there are problems that students’ health subject awareness needs to be improved and teachers’ teaching ability needs to be improved.Finally,the author proposes health education goals based on the core literacy of morality and rule of law in junior high school;discusses the contents of morality and rule of law textbooks in junior high school that are suitable for health education;and optimizes classroom teaching methods according to the concept of health education teaching.The author arouses students’ emotional resonance through exemplary figures fighting epidemics,helps them understand public health in a multidimensional way by creating realistic situations,and improves their judgment of health values by discussing public health events. |
