There are countless facts have proved that major breakthroughs in science and major inventions in technology begin with "query".Students actively ask questions in the learning process,which can effectively cultivate their consciousness of problems,scientific thinking so as to motivate their interest in learning physics.The new curriculum standards also pay more attention to cultivating the ability of raising problems independently among Chinese senior high school students,so the research on students’ questioning ability is essential.Through this research,it finds that the current situation of Chinese senior high school students’ independent questioning is not very optimistic.Not only students have poor consciousness of questioning,but also the questions they raise are in low quality.In addition,in the literature research of many scholars,KWL teaching mode has been proved that is good to improve this ability.Students participate in the classroom more actively and happily and the number of questions raised by students in the classroom has also increased while teachers taking this teaching mode.Accordingly,this paper will apply KWL teaching mode in high school physics classroom in order to cultivate students’ physics questioning ability.This paper is divided into five parts,the main contents are as follows:The first part is a theoretical review.Combined with literature research and the direction of physics teaching reform in senior high school,this paper discusses the importance of cultivating students’ physics questioning ability.By analyzing the current situation of Physics Teaching in senior high school and the effective research on the application of KWL teaching mode to cultivate students’ Questioning Ability in other disciplines,this paper obtains the feasibility of applying KWL teaching mode to cultivate senior high school students’ physics questioning ability.The second part is the definition of related concepts.In this part,the author expounds the concept of KWL teaching mode,the research status of questioning ability and the theories related to KWL teaching mode,which provides a theoretical basis for applying KWL teaching mode to physics teaching in senior high school.The third part is the investigation and analysis of senior high school students’ physics questioning ability.The author selects two parallel classes of senior one student in Ruyuan senior high school in Shaoguan as the research object,and analyzes the influence of KWL teaching mode on students’ physical questioning ability through the practice of KWL teaching mode and the pre-test and post-test of students’ physical questioning ability.The fourth part is the research on KWL teaching practice.According to the existing implementation principles and procedures of KWL teaching mode,combing with the characteristics of high school physics and students’ learning situation,the operation process of applying KWL teaching mode to high school physics classroom is formulated,and some contents are selected from the first and second chapters of Volume 1(Guangdong Education Edition)of general high school physics compulsory to carry out the teaching design and practical research of KWL teaching mode.The fifth part is the summary and reflection.In the process of this practice,KWL teaching mode has achieved ideal results,which not only cultivate students’ ability in finding and asking questions independently,but also stimulate students’ interest in learning physics.At the same time,the author also analyzes the shortcomings and improvements of the application of KWL teaching model.
