The "Curriculum Standards for Senior High School Physics"(2017 edition)and "Curriculum Standards for Senior High School Physics(Experiment)" clearly pointed out the importance of exploring, analyzing and solving classroom problems, and fully explained that the problem-based teaching that encouraged students to find, analyze and solve problems met the basic requirements of the new curriculum reform of physics. There are a lot of practical research on problem-based teaching, but through the investigation of the current high school physics classroom problem-based teaching situation,it is found that the problem of teachers’ classroom design is often only for the level of knowledge and ability, and for the development of students’ deep thinking, due to the lack of methods to judge the level of problem thinking designed,so that the problems can only reach the superficial knowledge surface, which is not conducive to promoting the development of students’ deep thinking. So this study introduces the SOLO classification theory in teaching practice, the students’ cognitive ability is divided into five levels according to the development of thinking, each level in turn, provides the standard for the hierarchical design of the problem. It is expected that the combination of SOLO classification theory and problem-based teaching mode can provide more scientific and accurate basis for the design of classroom problems and the evaluation of students’ learning results. This study mainly includes the following aspects.Firstly, through consulting a large number of relevant literature, the contents of SOLO classification theory and problem-based teaching at home and abroad are summarized. On this basis, the author first investigates the application status of problem-based teaching in high school physics classroom, analyzes the existing problems of problem-based teaching in high school physics classroom from the perspective of students and teachers, and puts forward corresponding solutions to these problems.Secondly, the SOLO classification theory is integrated into the problem-based teaching, with the SOLO classification theory as the evaluation tool and the physical problem-based teaching as the implementation path.According to SOLO classification theory, the teaching objectives are determined, the classroom problems are designed, the problems are analyzed and solved, and the teaching evaluation is carried out.The teaching design is carried out in the compulsory course of ’free falling body movement ’ in high school physics of Luke version, and it is applied to teaching practice. Finally, using SPSS software to analyze the practical results, verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the combination of SOLO classification theory and problem-based teaching in high school physics classroom teaching. The results show that the SOLO classification theory based high school physics problem teaching has certain feasibility and effectiveness, which can not only actively promote the development of students’ thinking, but also provide a scientific evaluation standard for teaching evaluation.
