PE Normal students are the main force of PE teachers in primary and secondary schools in the future.Their education and teaching ability directly determines the quality of PE Teaching in the stage of compulsory education.Normal education in normal colleges and universities is the main position of pre service teacher education.However,as the organizer,implementer and guide of education and teaching,the reform of teaching methods of physical education curriculum teachers can not only effectively improve the professional quality and education and teaching ability of normal students,but also put the concept of teaching reform into practice.Therefore,it is of great theoretical significance and practical value to study the effectiveness and dilemma of the reform of teaching methods of teachers in physical education curriculum group.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature,questionnaire,case study,interview and observation to make an in-depth analysis on the effectiveness and difficulties of the teaching method reform of teachers in physical education teaching curriculum group.Through a questionnaire survey on the current situation of teaching method reform of 129 teachers of physical education teaching curriculum group from6 normal universities directly under the Ministry of education,21 Provincial Normal Universities,14 comprehensive universities,14 general normal universities,2physical education universities,12 non normal general universities and 2 colleges and universities,combined with case studies,in-depth interviews and field observation are used to understand the process of teaching method reform of a teacher with certain representativeness,This paper analyzes the teaching effectiveness and difficulties of teacher a’s teaching method reform,and summarizes the uniqueness of teacher a’s teaching method.Through the research,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The survey results show that from the macro level of teaching methods,the teaching ideas of most teachers of physical education teaching courses are breaking through the transformation from teacher centered view to student-centered view,or have formed a student-centered teaching idea.A few teachers advocate the teaching idea of taking teachers as the leading role and paying attention to the development of students’ ability in teaching.From the meso level of teaching methods,most teachers of physical education teaching curriculum group teach with traditional teaching mode or cooperative learning teaching mode.Most teachers who use cooperative learning teaching mode can use rich and diverse methods and means to implement cooperative learning teaching mode and carry out effective teaching.From the micro level of teaching methods,most teachers of teaching courses in physical education use a variety of teaching tools and means.The teaching equipment used mainly include projectors,computers,microphones,movable tables and chairs,personal computers,wireless microphones and smart classrooms;The teaching methods adopted mainly include speech and motivation,classroom observation,group report,examination,chat,writing harvest and reflection,online teaching platform,classroom quiz,page turning pen,mobile phone,etc.(2)On the whole,the reform of teaching methods of physical education curriculum group teachers is effective,but it is also full of difficulties.The main effect is that students not only master physical education teaching knowledge,but also improve physical education teaching skills and teaching willingness,and strengthen students’ professional identity.The dilemma is mainly reflected in the heavy teaching tasks,heavy scientific research tasks,lack of teaching equipment in teaching venues,uneven number of teaching classes,insufficient funds for teaching reform,insufficient implementation of teaching policies,lack of team support,insufficient support from relevant departments,insufficient ability of their own teaching reform,etc.(3)The case shows that teacher a’s teaching method is representative in the three levels of physical education teaching method.From the macro level,teacher a can truly implement the teaching concept of student development as the center;From the meso level,teacher a mainly carries out effective teaching by integrating information technology with cooperative learning teaching mode;From the micro level,teacher a uses diversified teaching means and makes full use of information resources in teaching.The main teaching methods used include report,group discussion,case analysis,replay,learning reflection,classroom video,questionnaire,etc.At the same time,teacher a’s teaching method also has certain characteristics.For example,teacher a’s teaching concept is in line with the current national teaching reform teaching concept,the adopted teaching model can fully implement the teaching concept,and the rich and diverse information-based teaching methods and means at the above micro level are involved and applied in teaching.(4)Through the interview,we know that teacher a has experienced three stages:Enlightenment,strengthening and maturity in the process of teaching method reform.And through more than four years of teaching reform,it has achieved certain teaching results.It is mainly reflected in that the physical education normal students not only master the knowledge of physical education teaching design,learn how to write physical education teaching design,understand the characteristics of various teaching modes and the implementation process of cooperative learning,but also improve the students’ physical education teaching skills such as teaching practice,fragment teaching and teaching evaluation,but also cultivate the students’ social skills,language organization ability,language expression ability and learning ability.In addition,it also speeds up the transformation of students’ teaching concept from teacher-centered to student-centered development,strengthens students’ sense of team,cooperation and responsibility,improves students’ courage and self-confidence to speak on the stage,and shortens the distance between teachers and students.(5)A although there are difficulties in the reform of teachers’ teaching methods,they have the courage to overcome them.The difficulties encountered by a teachers in the process of teaching method reform are mainly reflected in their need to maintain unified examination requirements with their course group while carrying out teaching method reform;Students lack the foundation of cooperative learning;Solidify students’ teaching thinking;Students’ learning burnout;Theoretical teaching and practical teaching are difficult to be highly integrated;The physical function of teachers decreased;Insufficient funds for the reform of teaching methods.However,these difficulties did not stop teacher a from moving forward.She tried her best to carry out teaching reform under the requirements of the curriculum group,adopted a variety of methods to cultivate students’ cooperation ability,thinking consciousness and mobilize students’ internal learning motivation,and overcome the difficulties by reading books to alleviate her own pressure,emotion and optimize teaching strategies.In order to better implement the reform of teachers’ teaching methods,the interviewed teachers of physical education teaching curriculum group put forward the following main suggestions:(1)teachers should pay attention to improving their professional quality;(2)Teachers should strengthen physical exercise and keep healthy;(3)Colleges and universities should formulate a separate professional title evaluation system to reduce the pressure of teachers’ teaching and scientific research;(4)Colleges and universities should increase the investment in the reform of teaching methods;(5)Education departments should set up reward,assistance and supervision mechanisms to implement the reform of teaching methods.
