| Games are not only children’s way of life,but also the basic educational activities of kindergartens,which is recognized by educators.Folk sports games are closely related to kindergarten education.Many folk sports games are directly derived from the cultural accumulation in long-term rural production and life.They are the spiritual soil for children’s growth.Children get satisfaction,closeness to local areas and the identity to folk culture in those games,which are important resources for rural kindergarten education.This study attempts to analyze the current situation and problems of the application of folk sports games in Rural Kindergartens,explores the path of scientific application of folk sports games in educational practice,and put forward targeted educational suggestions.Firstly,using the methods of interview and observation to investigate the current situation and problems of the application of folk sports games in W kindergarten.It is found that there are some practical problems in W kindergarten,such as less types of folk sports games,narrow ways of folk sports game resources,limited conditions of folk sports game venues,insufficient materials of folk sports games,incomplete objectives of folk sports games,single organizational form of folk sports games.Secondly,it is the implementation part of action research.The main subjects are children in class 3 of W kindergarten,which lasts about 11 weeks.Through the implementation of teaching activities,collective game activities and regional game activities,they can find problems,think about problems and solve problems in teaching.Action research is divided into three stages: The first stage focuses on solving the practical problems of less folk sports games and narrow ways to obtain resources.By collecting,screening,implementing and reflecting on games,we initially explore strategies for applying folk sports games.The second stage focuses on the problems found in the previous stage,and solving the problems of incomplete goals of folk sports game activities and a single form of organization of game activities.We adapted the folk culture "Chuanban Dragon" of W town into a series of games in various forms,highlighting the cultural value that folk sports games should have.The third stage is to further adjust and improve the previous research,focusing on solving the problem of the lack of adaptive adaptation for folk sports games.We use the special tea seeds of W town as a folk sports game resource to develop a variety of games,highlighting the adaptability to the real life of young children.Finally,the researcher used qualitative methods to collect data in the course of action research and made the following educational recommendations for applying folk games: We should introduce games in a way that suits children’s interests,support children to explore and play with step-by-step guidance,start a new round of games with the conclusion game stage.And some recommendations for adapting or creating folk games: We should flexibly adjust the number of players and grouping methods,and using a variety of methods to create folk sports games. |
