Research On Application Of Folk Sports Games In Children’s Health Education Activities

Folk sports games are recreational activities developed,processed,created and inherited by the laboring people under the specific cultural background.They deeply reflect the local life,convey the local people’s ideology,value orientation,aesthetic taste,folk customs.In the process of inheritance,folk sports games form a rich educational value and traditional national culture.They are interesting,rich in content and form,and the game atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant.During playing,children develop physique,cognitive,emotion and sociality.Therefore,it is full of undeniable value to use folk sports game resources and develop its function of health education for promoting the development of children’s physical and mental health.This study clarifies the cultural value and educational value of folk sports games by combing the relevant literature.Understand and analyze the current situation by using interviews,observation and other methods.On this basis,the author cooperates with Tianshui kindergarten A to carry out the action research.In kindergarten A the author select one big,one middle and one small class.After discussing with the cooperative teachers about the effect,achievements and the existing problems of the folk sports game application.Some suggestions on the application of folk sports games in the kindergarten healthy activity are put forward.The study found that folk sports games have important value for children’s health and children like folk sports games.Moreover,folk sports games have gained some experience in kindergarten system,teachers’ attitude,teachers’ collection of resources and children’s participation.However,there are still some problems in the application of folk sports games.The main problems are as follows: some teachers have a single way to collect and choose games,lack of parental support for resource collection,lack of environment and corner activities,less participation of individual teachers in the activities,and less use of folk sports games in teaching activities.According to the above problems,the author carries out the action research in the three classes of kindergarten A.The paper puts forward some suggestions for the application of folk sports games in the field of kindergarten health: the formulation of activity objectives should be scientific and reasonable,specific and clear;the collection and arrangementof activities are important;the organization and implementation of activities should be carried out by learning activities,various forms of game activities,corner activities and environment creation;the evaluation of activities should be various and comprehensive.
