| Objective : In this paper,through seven consecutive weeks of Hong Quan intervention for adolescents,qualitative and quantitative exploration of the role of Hong Quan on adolescents ’ physical fitness and mental health,enrich the content of the empirical research field of Hong Quan,promote the physical and mental health development of adolescents,hoping to provide scientific research reference for adolescents to choose Hong Quan,a traditional martial arts project.Research methods : This paper mainly uses the experimental research method to select 17 teenagers aged 8-13 years old in Hong Quan Training Institute of Port Affairs District and 17 teenagers aged 8-13 years old in Weichengwan Hong Quan Training Institute as the survey objects.They were divided into experimental group A and experimental group B.The experimental group A was treated with Hong Quan intervention for seven weeks,once a week,each lasting for 2.5 hours.The experimental group B was treated with Hong Quan intervention for seven weeks,six times a week,each lasting for 2.5 hours.In addition to participating in the project of Hong Quan,the experimental group is no longer involved in other sports training projects.Before and after the intervention,the changes of six data of strength,speed,endurance,flexibility,coordination and sensitivity of the two Hong Quan experimental groups were measured to reflect the influence of Hong Quan on the physical fitness of adolescents aged 8 ~ 13 years,and the changes of the scores of the Mental Health Scale for Primary and Secondary School Students(MHT)were used to reflect the influence of Hong Quan on the mental health of adolescents aged 8 ~ 13 years.Results : After seven weeks of Hong Quan intervention,the grip strength,standing long jump,15 seconds of high leg lifting,30 seconds of kneeling push-ups,sit-and-reach,closed-eye single-foot standing,cross quadrant jump,reaction time and fixed distance obstacle of group A adolescents were significantly improved.The performance of prone shoulder extension height was significantly improved.The performance of 25-meter shuttle run was slightly but not significantly improved,and the performance of vital capacity was slightly decreased.After seven weeks of Hong Quan intervention,the standing long jump,vital capacity,standing on one foot with eyes closed,cross quadrant jump,reaction time and fixed distance continuous obstacle crossing scores of teenagers in group B were significantly improved.The results of grip strength,15 seconds high leg lift,25 meters shuttle run,30 seconds kneeling push-up and prone shoulder extension height were slightly but not significantly improved,and the results of sit-and-reach were slightly decreased.Before the seven-week Hong Quan intervention,there were significant differences in vital capacity scores between the two groups of adolescents,and there were extremely significant differences in prone shoulder extension height scores.After seven weeks of Hong Quan intervention,there were significant differences between the two groups in 15 seconds of high leg raising,25-meter shuttle run,prone shoulder extension height and reaction time.There were significant differences in 30 seconds of kneeling push-ups.The results of 15 seconds of high leg raising,30 seconds of kneeling push-ups,prone shoulder extension height and reaction time in group A were better than those in group B,and the results of 25-meter shuttle run in group B were better than those in group A.The self-blame tendency and overall mental health of adolescents in group A have been significantly improved,the anxiety and allergy tendency have been significantly improved,the learning anxiety,physical symptoms,terror tendency and impulse tendency have been slightly improved,and the loneliness tendency has not changed significantly.The learning,anxiety,loneliness,self-blame,allergy,terror tendency and overall mental health of adolescents in group B were significantly improved,and the physical symptoms and impulsive tendency were slightly improved.There was no significant difference in the other indicators between the two groups except for the loneliness tendency.The overall mental health of group A was slightly better than that of group B.After seven weeks of Hong Quan intervention,there was no significant difference in mental health indicators between the two groups of adolescents,and the psychological state of group B was slightly better than that of group A.(1)Hong Quan can improve the physical fitness performance of young people;after the intervention,except for the slight decrease in the vital capacity score of group A and the average score of sit-and-reach in group B,the rest of the physical fitness scores of the two groups were improved.(2)Hong Quan can improve the mental health of young people;after the intervention,except that the index of loneliness tendency in group A did not change significantly,the remaining psychological indicators of the two groups of adolescents were improved.(3)The training within the Hong Quan system can promote the development of physical fitness of young people;although the content or arrangement of Hong Quan training in different Hong Quan training institutes is different,it does not affect the benefits of young people in terms of physical fitness.(4)Hong Quan can effectively improve the mental health status of adolescents;there was a significant difference in the total average score of mental health between the two groups of adolescents before the intervention of Hong Quan,but the total average score increased after the intervention,and the length of intervention was positively correlated with the effect of improving the mental state.(5)For adolescents,a 150-minute Hong Quan training a week and six 150-minute Hong Quan training six times a week can bring positive benefits.Research Suggestions :(1)After the intervention of Hong Quan,the physical fitness test is carried out regularly,and the items with little or no obvious progress are found and adjusted in the training plan in time,so as to better promote the all-round development of adolescents ’ physical fitness.(2)For young people below the high school stage,it can be arranged for the initial stage of the week to carry out 3 ~ 4 times of Hong Quan training,and then increase the number of training times according to the situation,and pay attention to eliminating excessive exercise,which will help them to gradually and efficiently fully obtain the health benefits of Hong Quan.(3)For teenagers in high school,they can be arranged to carry out a 150-minute Hong Quan training once a week,which helps them maintain good physical fitness and mental health.(4)The single training duration of Hong Quan is set to 2 hours,which can be used as the training reference time for the majority of Hong Quan enthusiasts.It is best to join the group of Hong Quan enthusiasts in order to better obtain mental health benefits.(5)The research period of this study is seven weeks.The research period is shorter than that of the month or year.In order to understand the long-term intervention effect of Hong Quan,it is necessary to study the young people who have long-term Hong Quan training. |
