With the rapid development of society, the physical health of teenagers has not been rapidly improved, but instead, due to the pressure of learning, their physical health has decreased.Teenagers are the hope of the country.During school, how to efficiently use their leisure time to participate in exercise and improve their physical health is also one of the problems that students face.As one of the most popular sports, badminton can not only improve the physical fitness of teenagers but also have a positive impact on their mental health based on its characteristics and training methods.Using badminton training courses as the main teaching intervention method, combining the technical teaching of badminton with physical fitness such as speed, endurance, strength, and flexibility,it is demonstrated that badminton training has a promoting effect on the physical and mental health of teenagers, thereby helping students better improve their physical and mental health development. It also provides a theoretical basis for the study of badminton sports on students’ physical and mental health. Therefore, exploring the impact of badminton training on the physical and mental health of adolescents has significant research significance for their healthy development. This thesis uses the experimental method, questionnaire survey method and mathematical statistics method to collect and sort out the data of students’ physical health indicators and analyze the data of students’ mental health tests with the "Mental Health Scale for Middle School Students".The research subjects selected students from the first grade of Chongde 15 th Middle School in Xihu District,Hangzhou City. They registered voluntarily and screened the applicants.A total of 40 students with physical and mental health and zero foundation in badminton were selected and divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group consists of 20 people, with 10 boys and 10 girls each. The badminton training session lasts for 16 weeks, twice a week, and lasts for 45 minutes.A control group of 20 people, with 10 boys and 10 girls each, participated in a 45 minute physical education class arranged by the school for 16 weeks, twice a week. The indicators of physical health were tested before the experiment and at the 16 th week: "Body mass index(BMI),weight, height, vital capacity,50 m,1000m run for boys or 800 m run for girls, sitting forward bending and standing long jump";Before and at the 16 th week of the experiment, the questionnaire "Middle School Student Mental Health Scale" was used to test the subjects’ ten mental health indicators: compulsion, paranoia, hostility, interpersonal tension and sensitivity, depression, anxiety, learning pressure, maladaptation, emotional imbalance, and psychological imbalance.Analyze the data of physical and mental health indicators through independent sample T-test,one-way ANOVA,and JASP16.0.The following conclusions were drawn:(1)Through 16 weeks of badminton training intervention,it can effectively improve the physical and mental health of teenagers. In the T-test analysis, there were significant differences between the experimental group and boys in vital capacity,50 meter run,1000 meter run, standing long jump and sitting forward flexion, but there were no significant differences in height, weight and body mass index. There were significant differences in vital capacity,50 meter run,800 meter run and sitting forward flexion of girls in the experimental group, but there were no significant differences in height, weight, body mass index and standing long jump.Only female students in the control group showed significant differences in weight.(2)Through 16 weeks of badminton training intervention, there was a significant difference in the psychological health of male and female students in the experimental group in terms of paranoia, interpersonal tension and sensitivity, anxiety, and learning pressure. There was no significant difference in terms of compulsion, hostility, depression, maladaptation, emotional imbalance, and psychological imbalance.(3)In one-way ANOVA,there were significant differences in vital capacity,50 meter run, standing long jump and sitting forward flexion among boys in the experimental group; There were no significant differences in height, weight, body mass index, and 1000 meter running. There were significant differences in vital capacity and sitting forward flexion of girls in the experimental group, but there were no significant differences in height, weight, body mass index,50 meter run,800 meter run and standing long jump. From this,it can be seen that the training effect of men is better than that of women.(4)Through 16 weeks of badminton training intervention, speed quality, endurance quality, and flexibility quality have a positive impact on the mental health quality of both boys and girls;Strength quality has a negative impact on the mental health quality of both boys and girls. |
