Secondary vocational education,as an important position in the cultivation of technical and skilled talents in China,occupies half of the high school education in China.In recent years,with the introduction of policies such as "Opinions on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Modern Vocational Education" and "Opinions on Deepening the Reform of Modern Vocational Education System",secondary vocational education in China has achieved remarkable results in the cultivation of talents.However,the public has been talking about "vocational",and secondary vocational students have been labeled as "uneducated","poor quality" and "misconduct"."These labels are not entirely prejudicial.These labels are not entirely biased,but the current problems of secondary vocational students in terms of comprehensive quality,craftsmanship and behavioural habits have become the shackles of high-quality development of secondary vocational education.Classes are the basic unit for educating students in secondary vocational schools,and an excellent class culture plays an irreplaceable role in nurturing students’ comprehensive qualities,shaping their healthy bodies and minds,and enhancing their vocational skills.Therefore,studying the construction of classroom culture in secondary schools is undoubtedly the right thing to do in order to cultivate high quality technical and skilled talents.This study adopts a qualitative research method and takes Z Vocational School in Qingdao as the research object.It delves into the realistic secondary classroom culture construction and presents the real situation of secondary classroom culture construction objectively through observation and interview.Through the analysis of the problems in the construction of classroom culture in Z secondary school,the root causes of the problems in the construction of secondary classroom culture were investigated and strategies for the construction of secondary classroom culture were proposed on this basis.Through the study,it is found that the culture construction of middle-grade classes is mainly characterized by the lack of "cultural connotation" and professional characteristics;the popularity of "formalism" and the lack of nurturing value;the distortion of democratic atmosphere and the lack of "student-oriented";and the lack of spiritual culture."The main problems are: the lack of spiritual culture and the lack of professional characteristics;the weak sense of subjectivity and the weak power of cooperation.In essence,the root causes of the problems in class culture construction are five aspects: weak cultural awareness,obscured cultural subjects,ineffective activity design,poor integration of industry and education,and single evaluation criteria.After an in-depth analysis of the causes,the response strategies for secondary class culture construction are proposed as follows:attach importance to material culture construction to create a professional atmosphere;enhance spiritual culture construction to manifest vocational culture;improve institutional culture construction to inject enterprise The strategies are: emphasise the construction of physical culture to create a professional atmosphere;improve the construction of spiritual culture to manifest professional culture;improve the construction of institutional culture to inject corporate elements;empower the construction of class activities to cultivate students’ literacy;and strengthen the support of schools to form a joint effort in education.In this way,we can create an excellent secondary classroom culture,bring into play the nurturing role of classroom culture,improve the social adaptability and professionalism of secondary school students in a subtle way,and train them into high-quality technical and skilled talents.
