| Social work has always been regarded as a profession filled with value,and the cultivation of correct professional value cognition is an important prerequisite for learning the profession well.Based on the literature at home and abroad,this study found that many literatures have studied the professional value cognition of social work,including the analysis of its current situation and influencing factors,but there are few studies on social work,especially the involvement of group work in social work students’ professional value cognition.This study will explore the method of using group intervention to give full play to the professional advantages of social work and guide social work students to establish a correct professional value cognition.In this study,the social work major of a university in S City,Jilin Province was released to students in advance,and 20 students who were confused about the value cognition of social work major were recruited for interviews,and the current situation of social work students’ professional value cognition was analyzed.By interviewing students and teachers,and searching for information about the cooperation between training plans and social organizations in several universities,the influencing factors of social work professional value cognition were analyzed,and four reasons were found: students’ learning interest and professional practice confusion;Teaching content and teaching methods at the teacher level;Training objectives and curriculum plan at school level;Cooperation between social work majors and social organizations at the level of social influence.After analyzing the interview results,this study selected six students to participate in the group work,mainly from the student level in the analysis of the reasons mentioned above,relying on the cognitive behavior theory to change students’ wrong cognition and improve students’ professional identity,summarizing and evaluating the effects before and after the group intervention,discussing the effectiveness of the theory and group work methods,and reflecting on the group intervention.Finally,suggestions are put forward from three aspects: strengthening the research of group work methods in specific practical operation,strengthening the practice of group work methods in professional value cognition,and promoting students’ professional value cognition through social work and cooperation with various educational subjects.In a word,it is worth exploring and studying to cultivate the correct professional value cognition of social work students in the learning process.At present,the analysis of the current situation of students’ professional value cognition and its influencing factors may require a larger sample size and more in-depth research,and more practice and reflection are needed in group intervention.The field of group work involved in social work students’ professional value cognition needs to be explored and developed,thus helping social work students to develop professional values and devote themselves to future study and work. |
