In recent years,China's social work profession has developed rapidly,and the development of social work vocational education is booming.The development prospects of social work are excellent,but there is a serious brain drain rate in the training of professional talents.Based on this background,this study chooses the development of coastal social work in the more developed areas,taking local vocational middle school social management students as the survey object,starting from the source school of social work personnel training,to understand the social management professional freshmen's recognition of the profession.To understand the impact of student professional identity on their professional and career planning,and to further identify the deeper factors that influence students'professional identity.In the practical intervention part,the social work group working method is adopted,recruiting team members,designing activities,and using social work professional theories and methods to intervene in the influencing factors involved.The intervention effect and feasibility are evaluated and tested after the completion of the group activities.A questionnaire survey of freshmen in social administration(also known as social work majors)shows that the professional recognition of students in this major is generally low,and the influencing factors mainly include lack of professional cognition,lack of empathy for social work professional values,emotions and ethics.And confused about future professional and career planning.The reasons for this are:the lack of initiative in the choice of majors,the lack of education in professional values and ethics in school education,and the reasons for students' unclear professional and career planning.In the process of intervention,the group has 8 activities in four stages,each with its corresponding theme,including basic knowledge from social work profession,social work professional emotion,social work value,social work ethics,social work role and Social work professional academic and career planning is carried out with the goal.The group process follows the four phases of the work of the social work group and is divided into the initial stage,the conversion period,the production period and the later stage.Social workers complete the series of group activities according to the characteristics of the members of each period,the development process of the group,the interaction mode of the team members,the realization degree of the group goals to control the group's power distribution,and maintain the group atmosphere.After the team's work is involved,follow-up services are provided to the team members to evaluate the effectiveness of the team's work,the process,the team members,and the social workers.The assessment results show that the intervention of the group work increases the interest of students in learning majors,and the understanding of social work professional knowledge is greatly improved.It can clearly distinguish personal values,social values,professional values,and more agree with social work professional values,and more I have a deep understanding of the differences between Chinese traditional ethics and social work ethics in solving problems.In terms of academic and career planning,the proportion of direct employment students who choose to engage in social-related occupations has risen,and students who continue to pursue further studies choose to continue to specialize in social work.The proportion of the number of people has risen.From the results of the assessment,it can be seen that the group work is effective in its intervention,and the student's professional identity is generally improved.
