The degree of recognition of the degree of professional recognition of the undergraduates of social work is influenced by the students' own learning motivation,learning interest,learning quality and the purpose of school education.In order to cultivate students'professional identity,the group activities mainly focus on cultivating and raising undergraduates' awareness of social work professional identity.From the perspective of school social work,this study is aimed at the freshmen of 2016 undergraduate social work specialty in Southwest Petroleum University.This paper analyzes the status quo of freshmen in 2016 undergraduate social work specialty of Southwest Petroleum University,including the application of social work specialty,the interest of professional study and the three aspects of social work professional willingness in the future,using the literature research method,semi structured interview method and participatory research method.Group activities through the early needs assessment set up the team work objectives,early recruitment team,design activities plan,conducting nine group activities and follow-up services to consolidate the results.Finally,results assessment based on the effectiveness of the team's activities,the result of evaluation and analysis of the effectiveness and deficiencies.In the process of growing group,the social workers analyzed,researched and evaluated the team members by using the emotion ABC theory,humanism theory and social learning theory.The participation and service of undergraduate freshmen,improve their professional sense of social work,group activities have achieved some success.There are also many deficiencies in the process of intervention,such as the excessive involvement of the group leaders affected the effectiveness of the activities,the design of the lack of flexibility,the group's emergency treatment is not appropriate and the sub-group insufficient attention.This paper hopes to reveal the effectiveness and deficiency of the team work in promoting the professional identity of social work undergraduate freshmen,and provide experience for the follow-up research,and also hope to help reduce the wastage rate of social workers and promote the new path of social work.
