Research On The Civic Morality Education Of College Students In The New Media Era

With the progress of science and technology,the Internet and smart phones have been widely used,and new media platforms such as Weibo,Zhihu,We Chat,Tiktok have penetrated into the daily life of college students.The convenient and fast new media has promoted the broadening of college students’ horizons and the development of college students to a certain extent,and brought new opportunities to college students’ civic morality education,but brought impact to traditional civic morality education.The problem of civic morality of college students is becoming increasingly prominent.If not properly guided,it will have a great impact on college students’ learning,life,the cultivation of moral concepts,and even their future development.Civic morality education is an important part of ideological and political education,and the civic morality education of college students is the focus of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.At present,colleges and universities need to actively explore effective ways to promote the civic morality education of college students in combination with the characteristics and influence of new media.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature analysis and investigation.Starting from the summary and comment of the research background,purpose,significance and the current research situation at home and abroad,taking the overview of new media and college students’ civic morality education,Marxist moral thought,the Chinese traditional excellent moral thought and western citizen moral theory as the theoretical basis,starting with the concept of new media,this paper summarizes the characteristics of new media,and analyzes the positive and negative effects of new media on college students’ civic morality education,It also explains the content of civic morality education.Through the questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes the current situation of college students’ civic morality and education in the new media era,as well as the problems and reasons of college students’ civic morality education.First,the current concept of civic morality education for college students does not fit in with the new media era.Second,the content of civic morality education for college students does not adapt to the development of new media.Third,at present,the mode of civic morality education for college students is not perfect,and family,school and social education have not formed an effective multi-party education force.Forth,the current new media management mechanism is not sound,and the construction of relevant laws and regulations is insufficient.On the basis of the research conclusion,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to promote the civic morality education of college students in the new media era.First,update the concept of civic morality education for college students in the new media era,including strengthening the education concept of all-round development,and updating the concept of student-centered and paying attention to students’ internal needs.The second is to enrich the content of civic morality education for college students in the new media era,including strengthening ideal and belief education,strengthening the education of socialist core values,strengthening the education of Chinese excellent traditional virtues,strengthening the education of national spirit and the spirit of the times,and strengthening the network civic morality education.Third,improve the civic morality education mode of college students in the new media era,and create a stereo education mode that combines society,schools,families,students and new media.Fourth,improve the environmental management of civic morality education for college students,including strengthening the construction of laws and regulations related to new media communication,updating the new media management technology,and establishing a management mechanism suitable for the development of new media.
