Research On Cultivation Of University Students ’Citizens’ Consciousness Under The Goal Of Morality Education

The report of the 18 National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)put forward for the first time that "It is the fundamental task of education to set high moral values and cultivate person".In the exposition on socialist democracy,the report of the 17 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China explicitly put forward the important conclusion that "strengthening the education of citizen consciousness,establishing the conception of socialist democratic rule by law,freedom and equality,fairness and justice".The emphasis on the cultivation of civic consciousness represents the direction of the development of the times and is the specific requirement put forward by social practice.To study the cultivation of civic consciousness can enable us to understand,cognize and master the concept of civic consciousness more deeply.It can also let us know how to take part in the management of the society by making ourselves examples as a citizen of a harmonious society.Developing into the new era,we should go beyond the connotation of the term and expand it to the level of the cultivation of civic consciousness when we are exploring the concept of "citizen".If we deeply understand and cognize the cultivation of civic consciousness,we can find that the development of this work is helpful to consolidate the guiding position of Marxism in the ideological field,to enhance the centripetal force of the nation as a whole,and to strengthen the cohesion of the country.It can also lay the ideological foundation of the theory and system for the rejuvenation of the nation and the prosperity of China at the ideological level.With the development of modernization in China,the lack of civic consciousness has become one of the factors hindering the social development of our country.College students are the new talents of the socialist era and the main force of the socialist construction in the future.Whether the civic consciousness of college students is strong or not directly influences and determines the construction of the socialist harmonious society.This paper takes the cultivation of college students’ civic consciousness as the starting point,applies the methods of literature reference and questionnaire analysis to study the present situation of the cultivation,explores the problems existing in this field,and aims at the problems existing in the cultivation of college students’ civic consciousness.In the environment of Setting high moral values and cultivate person,the paper puts forward the countermeasures of cultivating college students’ civic consciousness.
