The concept of unfair distribution has been attached great importance and promoted the development of moral,such as moral emotions and prosocial behaviors.However,due to the limitation of children’s social cognition,their moral development is greatly influenced by the environment,especially the school and family.In addition,parents,as the most intimate adult group,which have a greater impact on children’s social development.The authoritative cognition of parents is the children’s cognition of whether parents have the right to interfere and control their behavior in various fields.Moral outrage refers to the moral emotional experience of anger or disgust generated by the third party whose own interests are not affected by the non-moral events.Third-party punishment is the behavior that bystanders are willing to pay personal price to punish those who violate moral standards when their own interests are not affected.As a part of children’s cognition,parental authority has a potential influence on their third party’s punishment behavior.When human authority and justice conflict,they will believe that adults are unconditionally right.Other studies have found that authority affects children’s moral judgments in certain situations.Moral outrage can activate the third-party,and outrage is the direct mechanism of the third-party punishment.Therefore,it is significant to explore the influence of parents’ authoritative role on children’s moral behavior.This study selected two ordinary primary schools in Sichuan Province.Firstly,Parental Authority Cognition Questionnaire were distributed to understand children’s authoritative cognition of parents.Then the unfair distribution situations were set by ultimatum game task.Children expressed moral outrage and made punishment decisions.Finally,the punishment intensity statistics were carried out.The characteristics of cognition of parental authority,third-party punishment and moral in primary school students were analyzed in the demographic variables of grade and gender,and to further explore the relationship among perception of parental authority,third-party punishment,and moral outrage of primary school students,Difference test,correlation analysis and the mediating effect were tested by SPSS24.0 processing data,which mainly analyzed the gender and age characteristics of children’s cognition of parental authority,third-party punishment and moral outrage,and further explored the relationship among primary school children’s cognition of parental authority,third-party punishment and moral outrage.This study provides a new perspective for expanding the influence factors of children’s third-party punishment,improving the development of altruistic behavior research,and promoting the development of individual mental health.It is important to pay attention to the family upbringing and school moral education,cultivating children to form independent moral judgment,and correcting early bad behaviors.Establishing correct parental authority and attaching importance to family upbringing are imporant.As an important authority figure in childhood,parents need to pay attention to the development of parent-child relationship and parenting style.To realize the limitation of children’s cognitive development level,children should take part in social activities and attach importance to the family as an important growth environment.As one of the main places for students to receive education,schools should try various teaching resources,including environment setting,curriculum arrangement,activity experience and other forms to enrich the channels of children’s moral cognition.In practice,it is committed to enhancing parent-child relationship,solving parent-child conflict,strengthen children’s awareness of justice,enhance children’s communication,and promote children to realize socialization smoothly.The following conclusions:(1)Primary school children’s cognition of parental authority has no significant difference in grade and gender.There is no a significant difference between primary school students’ moral outrage in grade.There is no significant difference in the third-party punishment intensity of primary school students in gender,but there is a significant difference in grade.(2)The third-party punishment of primary school students has a significant positive correlation with the cognition of parental authority,the moral outrage is positively correlated with the third-party punishment,there is a significant positive correlation between parental authority perception and moral outrage.(3)Parental authority has a significant predictive effect on third party punishment,and moral outrage has a significant predictive effect on third party punishment.(4)Moral outrage played mediating roles in the relationship between the cognition of parental authority and the third-party punishment. |
