Whole book reading is an important way of reading in Chinese courses,which is of great significance for the cultivation of students’ reading habits,reading ability and core literacy.The Standards for Chinese Curriculum in Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)for the first time explicitly puts forward the concept of "whole book reading" in the compulsory education stage,and its importance is self-evident.Fu Lei’s Family Letter is a must-read masterpiece for the eighth grade of junior high school Chinese textbooks,and it is also a collection of letters containing rich educational ideas,which has profound teaching value.However,in actual teaching,teachers still have problems and lack of novelty in the implementation of the whole book reading teaching strategy of Fu Lei’s Family Letter,which is difficult to stimulate students’ enthusiasm,resulting in teaching that cannot achieve the expected results.In view of this,this paper intends to focus on the research on the reading teaching strategy of the whole book of Fu Lei’s Family Letter,in order to provide certain reference significance for the reading teaching of the whole book of Fu Lei’s Family Letter.This thesis takes Fu Lei’s Family Letter as the research object,and on the basis of comprehensive research of predecessors,divides it into an introduction and three chapters for research.The introduction part first discusses the research origin and research object of the whole book reading teaching of Fu Lei’s Family Letter,and sorts out the research status from the two aspects of reading teaching of the whole book and Fu Lei’s Family Letter,and then clarifies the research significance and research methods.The first chapter mainly provides an overview of the entire reading of the Fu Lei’s Family Letter.Firstly,the concept of reading the whole book is defined,the theoretical basis is provided,and the requirements of the course standard are clarified;Secondly,the arrangement ideas of the "Guide to Famous Books" section of the junior high school are sorted out in detail,and the relationship between the reading of the whole book and the "Guide to Famous Works" section is explained,and on this basis,the whole book reading based on the "Guide to Famous Works" section is carried out.Finally,clarify the teaching value of the reading the whole book of Fu Lei’s Family Letter.The second chapter mainly investigates and analyzes the teaching status of the entire reading of the Fu Lei’s Family Letter.Determine the target and purpose of the investigation,and design a reasonable questionnaire;The results are summarized,sorted out and analyzed,and then from the perspectives of teachers and students,many problems and causes of the reading and teaching of the whole book of Fu Lei’s Family Letter are analyzed.Based on the analysis of the current situation of reading teaching in the whole book of Fu Lei’s Family Letter.Chapter 3 proposes effective teaching strategy from five aspects: reading guidance,interest selection,question selection,purpose selection and method selection according to the characteristics of selective reading.
