With the promulgate of the "General high School History Curriculum Standards(2017 edition 2020 Revision)",it marks the official start of a new curriculum reform aimed at promoting "moral education".In addition,the unified edition of high school history textbooks began to be used throughout the country,and the new textbooks adopted the writing form of "general history + special topics",which changed the situation of historical facts in the previous textbooks.However,there are also some problems in the use of new textbooks,such as the content of new textbooks,covering a wide range,often lead to heavy class pressure,it is difficult to complete the teaching task within the specified time.In order to solve this problem and highlight the "key" and "important" characteristics of the new textbook,teachers can use large unit teaching,effectively integrate the teaching content,make the teaching design integrated,the knowledge system structured,and finally form the integration of teaching evaluation.Large unit teaching is a holistic and systematic thinking of lesson preparation,which is conducive to the effective landing of core literacy.Inspired by this point of view,the study of high school history teaching strategy of large units is carried out.Based on constructivism theory,Gestalt learning theory and situational teaching method,this paper defines the concept of large unit teaching,expounds the characteristics of large unit teaching and the necessity of carrying out large unit teaching in high school history.By means of questionnaire survey,this paper investigates the use of history teaching of large unit in different high schools in different regions of Henan Province.Through analysis of the survey results,it is found that there are some problems in the use of large unit teaching,such as teachers’ teaching theory needs to be reformed,it is difficult to prepare and implement lessons in large unit teaching,and students’ core literacy is insufficient.In view of the problems found in the investigation,based on the new curriculum standards and the unified edition of high school history textbooks,this paper puts forward the corresponding solutions from three aspects: lesson preparation,implementation and evaluation of large unit teaching.Then,the author takes Unit 5 of the unified edition of high school history textbook "Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(II)" as an example to design the case,in order to provide reference and reference for the design and implementation of high school history teaching.
