The "grand historical perspective" is a new perspective and approach to historiography.The theory of "grand history" has a long history,and the "long time" perspective proposed during the French Annales School laid the foundation for the subsequent theories and research.In the field of history,the "grand view of history" was explicitly proposed by Chinese American scholar Huang Renyu and American historian David Christian,and as socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era,General Secretary Xi Jinping also proposed to view history from the perspective of the "grand view of history ".The "grand view of history" advocates studying history from a macro perspective,looking at history through comparative links and synthesis,combining history with reality,and examining its relevance.According to the new curriculum,students should have a comprehensive and correct understanding of history and reality,a sense of mission and identity,a sense of global awareness and an international perspective,so the application of the "big history concept" in high school history teaching is in line with the development trend of the times,the requirements of the new curriculum and the needs of students’ development.The theory of "Big History View",which has been studied by different scholars and expressed different views,has had a certain influence on the academic and teaching fields.On this basis,we conducted questionnaires and interviews with some teachers and students in two high schools in Henan Province,and found that there is a lack of understanding of the "Big History View" theory among teachers and students,the lack of students’ independent learning ability,and the imbalance between teaching and cultivating students’ literacy due to heavy teaching tasks.In response to the existing problems,we can use lectures and public classes to promote the application and dissemination of the "Big History View" in teaching,consolidate the basic knowledge of history,change students’ previous concept of over-reliance on teachers,gradually improve students’ learning ability and way of thinking,optimize the construction of teachers,improve teachers’ professionalism,promote students’ overall healthy development while teaching the curriculum,and apply the "Big History View" to history teaching through specific teaching cases.This theoretical study combines the "big historical perspective" with high school history teaching,hoping to help students broaden their horizons,exercise their historical thinking,improve their historical analysis skills,provide students with a new perspective on history,and provide new ideas for improving the efficiency of high school history teaching. |
