At present,the society has higher requirements for the teaching quality and student management of private boarding schools.Junior high school boarders are a special group of students,they leave the family and integrate into the collective life will face a lot of problems.With the increasing number of boarders,the management of boarders has become one of the problems that private educators urgently need to think about and solve.Based on this background,on the basis of combing the current research situation at home and abroad,this paper selects three private junior middle schools in Huizhou as the object to investigate and study the current management of boarding students.It is analyzed from the aspects of management concept,management system,management team,management content and measures,management effect and so on.The study found that the current problems in the management of boarders are as follows:the concept of management lags behind,the participation of grass-roots teachers and parents is low,the management system needs to be improved,the implementation of the system is weak,the management team is uneven,and the management ability needs to be improved;the focus of management is biased,the management measures are not appropriate,and the lack of characteristics of management neglects evaluation and supervision.The reasons for these problems can be summarized as follows: the concept of school management is old-fashioned,the management system is not perfect,and the management means are not scientific;teachers’ enthusiasm is not high and lack of necessary management knowledge and skills training;the communication mechanism between home and school is not smooth.Parents do not actively cooperate with student management;the source of students is complex and the ability of self-management is low.In this regard,this paper puts forward the following strategies: the first is to update the management concept and strengthen the service consciousness;the second is to improve the management system and standardize the management behavior;the third is to attach importance to the construction of the management team and enhance the sense of professional identity;the fourth is to cooperate with each other to promote the healthy growth of boarders;the fifth is to optimize the educational environment and encourage self-management.It hopes that through this study,it can provide valuable reference for the management of boarding students in private junior middle schools.
