| With the substantial increase in the number of special children,the quality of family education has been widely valued by people from all walks of life.In recent years,the quality of family education has been concerned by a large number of scholars and a lot of in-depth research has been carried out,which proves that parental rearing patterns are an important factor affecting the quality of family education.In the upbringing of children with disabilities,it is often because of the symptoms and inner anxiety and fear that parents will excessively restrict or spoil children.However,these methods are unfavorable for children’s growth and development.The biggest difference between the concept of positive parenting and the traditional educational concept in China is that positive parenting emphasizes the cultivation of children’s inner strength,and emphasizes neither punishment nor arrogance on the premise of mutual acceptance and respect.In education,positive parenting is very effective in strengthening parent-child relationship and improving family education level,which has been fully verified in developed countries such as Europe,America and Hong Kong SAR,Macao SAR and Taiwan region,and it is also the scientific education concept that Chinese traditional parents have always lacked.In this study,a scheme based on the concept of positive parenting was adopted to intervene in the parenting style of children with developmental disabilities,in order to seek effective measures to improve the parenting style of children with developmental disabilities.This study mainly includes the following two parts: The first part is the research on the present situation of parenting style of children with developmental disabilities,and the parents of children with developmental disabilities in special education institutions,special education schools and other places around Chengdu,Sichuan Province were tested by using the Parental Authority Scale,and 278 valid questionnaires were collected.According to the results,the parental rearing patterns are analyzed and the development trend of parental rearing patterns is grasped.After that,according to the types of parental rearing patterns reported by the subjects in the questionnaire study and on the premise that the subjects voluntarily participated in the interview study,10 typical parents were selected for in-depth interviews to discuss the main factors affecting the development of parental rearing patterns and the existing problems.The second part is the research on the improvement of parenting style of children with developmental disabilities by the intervention program based on the positive parenting concept.The research method is natural experiment.According to certain standards,30 parents of children suitable for experimental research were screened out and divided into experimental group and control group,with 15 parents in each group.Intervene according to the scheme designed by the researcher based on the concept of positive parenting.The control group received no intervention.After the experiment,the parenting styles of the two groups were tested immediately and the post-test results were obtained.This study draws the following conclusions:1.There are no significant differences in the dimensions of laissez-faire,authoritarian authority and enlightened authority of parents’ parenting style of children with developmental disabilities in the demographic situation of parents’ occupation,marital status and education;There are significant differences in family structure and family population.2.After the intervention,parents’ parenting attitudes and ideas changed,and they learned to "follow the trend" and the parent-child relationship became harmonious,which proved that the intervention was effective in improving parents’ parenting style.There are significant differences between authoritarian authority and enlightened authority,but there is no significant change in the score of laissez-faire. |
