| Pro-social behaviors generally refer to the behavior or tendency of individuals who help or intend to help other individuals or groups,such as helping behaviors,positive social behaviors.Pro-social behaviors are kinds of positive social behaviors.Pro-social behaviors,which play significant roles for one’s socialization,not only are very important for people to have good relationship with each other,but also are encouraged for people to have.It is researched that pro-social behaviors are influenced by the following factors: culture and society,family and friends,situation,traits of the recipients and the helpers.The author tried to find the influence from parental rearing patterns and self concept to the prosocial behaviors of junior student based on the factors of family and traits of helpers.On the one hand,it shows the multi-factor influence mechanism of prosocial behavior,on the other hand,it’s beneficial for family and school to form an organism to promote the development of junior student in puberty.This study adopts questionnaire method,and 450 students from two junior middle schools in Shanxi Province were surveyed by using Parenting Bonding Instrument revised by scholar Jiang Jiang,etc,the Tennessee self concept scale revised by scholar Lin Bangjie from Taiwan and the pro-social Instrument by Carroll(translated by Kou Yu,Hong Huifang etc.).The conclusions are as follows:1.Parents prefer to treat their kids warmly and positively.The pro-social behaviors of students are all higher than the theoretical median,and the whole is in a relatively good state.The scores of dimension to the father and mother’s refused are lower than the theoretical median.2.There are differences between different dimensions of Parenting styles,self concept and pro-social behavior and demographic concepts among junior high school students.For example,there are differences in gender,grade,educational level of parents and the student live in single-child family or not.3.There are correlations among the dimension of father’s and mother’s warm,mother’s refused,self concept and pro-social behaviors in middle school students.The results are as follows:The dimension of father’s and mother’s warm can significantly positively predict the pro-social behaviors of junior students and mother’s refused can significantly negatively predicted the pro-social behaviors of junior students.The self concept can significantly positively predicted the pro-social behaviors of junior students.The dimension of father’s and mother’s warm can significantly positively predict the self concept of junior students and mother’s refused can significantly negatively predicted the self concept of students.4.Self concept serves as an full mediation between father’s and mother’s warm,mother’s refused and pro-social behaviors.The author puts forward education-related solutions and suggestions on the basis of research conclusions and provides practical guidance for promoting pro-social behaviors of junior school students. |
