The rural development of our country is currently in transition from "poverty alleviation" to "rural revival." Rural education is a critical component in achieving rural regeneration, building a strong modern socialist country, and realizing the Chinese nation’s great rejuvenation. The foundation for promoting education equity and realizing a balanced development of urban and rural education is to improve the running quality of rural schools.Teachers are the most valuable human resources in rural schools, and their performance has a direct impact on school quality. There are variances in the quality of school-running within the same county, even among schools with similar school-running conditions. So,how do administrators of high-performing rural middle schools handle teacher performance? To increase teacher performance, how should rural middle schools maximize teacher performance management? The local education bureau developed H Central School,a junior high school in G County,as a model of high school running quality in remote middle schools. It was chosen as the case study object, and the literature analysis approach,semi-structured interview method, field observation method, and physical analysis method were all used extensively in this study. This article looked at the metrics and impacts of teacher performance management in this school,as well as the optimization tactics for rural middle school teachers’ performance management. To begin,we looked at the performance management measures used by teachers in the junior middle school of the central school of H town in G county, and discovered that these measures include clear management objectives,a variety of management methods, and detailed teacher performance evaluation plans.Teachers were encouraged to enhance their performance by school administrators who used strong supervision, timely feedback, promotion of communication, leading by example, and management strategies to increase remuneration and establish precise assessment standards to evaluate teachers performance.Teachers are rewarded and punished in part based on the results of their performance appraisals. Then,at the middle school of H town central school in G county,to investigate the impact of teacher performance management and discover that teachers in this school have clear priorities and know where their efforts are going.Teachers diligently carry out their responsibilities, intentionally improve their talents, take the initiative to assist and cooperate with others, and put in extra effort to meet the school’s development aim of enhancing teaching performance.Teachers have exceptional performance, not only in terms of teaching, but also in terms of scientific and educational innovative achievements,as well as a high level of award-winning,which contrasts sharply with the trend of diminishing rural education as cities grow.Measures to regulate teacher performance in high-quality rural schools aren’t totally effective.Teachers’ performance evaluations have failed to guide them, and satisfaction with performance evaluation methods vary. Finally, describe the benefits and drawbacks of teacher performance management at G county’s central school and H town’s junior middle school, and propose that rural middle schools implement teacher performance management in the following three areas.First, clarify the school’s development direction: formulate school development goals and unify teachers’ development goals;second, improve performance management methods: provide continuous feedback, create a cooperative atmosphere, improve communication efficiency, and increase work income;third, improve performance management methods: provide continuous feedback, create a cooperative atmosphere, improve communication efficiency, and increase work income;and fourth, improve performance management methods: provide continuous feedback, create a cooperative atmosphere, improve communication efficiency Finally, strengthen the performance evaluation system by clarifying performance evaluation indicators, implementing scientific performance evaluation methodologies, and utilizing performance evaluation data to their full potential. The goal of this study is to thoroughly describe the current state of teacher performance management in rural middle schools with high school quality in order to develop an effective and feasible optimization strategy for teacher performance management in rural middle schools and to provide specific measures for teacher performance management implementation in the same type of schools.
