| In the 20 th Party Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that education,science and technology,and talents are the fundamental and strategic support for the comprehensive construction of a modern Chinese style country.The congress report makes new and important arrangements around the fundamental issue of cultivating human education.Among them,mental health issues occupy a significant proportion.The medium and long-term youth development plan(2016-2025)promulgated by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC)and the State Council clearly states that "the level of youth institutional health needs to be improved urgently,and some youth mental health problems are becoming increasingly prominent,and interventions for youth mental health should be strengthened in a timely manner".A number of national documents have highlighted the physical and mental health of youth.With the gradual increase in the risk of mental sub-health among adolescents,some popular research areas have emerged,such as life education,character education and frustration education.This study will explore the issue of frustration education for junior high school students with the aid of music.Frustration education is an important part of educational work in the new era.The frustration education approach is extremely advantageous with the teaching tools of the music subject.There is research that demonstrates that music can produce rich and varied emotional experiences that can be used to meet the multifaceted needs of people’s emotions.This argument suggests that the discipline of music can be of some assistance in the practice of frustration education.A comparative study of the literature reveals that the current state of implementation of frustration education for junior high school students is more frequently mentioned in both physical education and moral studies,but less attention is paid to other subjects.Although frustration education is less common in music,there is still some theoretical research.The research can be broadly divided into two areas: one is to explore the theoretical basis for developing students’ resilience to frustration in music teaching;the other is to study the content and methods of frustration education in music education.From the analysis of the literature,there exists a part of research that proposes the theoretical basis for music teaching to assist frustration education,but few researchers have been seen to conduct practical research.In response to the above theoretical research situation,the author takes junior high school students in the adolescent stage as the research segment,and uses ’psychological subhealth’,’frustration education’ and ’frustration education in music’ as support for the theoretical research.The theoretical studies were used as support,and the design of the practical music curriculum was based on the framework of the "school-based curriculum",and 16 hours of practical teaching on frustration education with the aid of music were conducted.After the practical teaching,Hu Yueqin and Gan Yiqun’s(2008)Mental Toughness Scale was used to conduct a survey on the mental toughness of some junior high school students,which proved the effectiveness of the instrument and enriched the theoretical and practical research on frustration education,with certain significance of whitening. |
