| Extracurricular reading is a necessary extension and expansion of Chinese teaching.It can enrich students’ knowledge,cultivate their sentiment,broaden their horizons and enhance their taste.With the continuous reform of education,the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 edition)has further made clear requirements for Chinese extracurricular reading,and extracurricular reading has gradually attracted the attention of all the society.But in rural middle schools,extracurricular reading is still a big problem.With the deepening of the revitalization of rural education,extracurricular reading in rural schools plays an extremely important role in educating people.Therefore,the study of rural junior high school Chinese extracurricular reading teaching is of great practical significance.Based on the new curriculum standard and related reading theory,pedagogy and other theories,this paper takes the author’s middle school as the research object,and comprehensively uses the literature analysis method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to investigate and study the Chinese extracurricular reading situation of rural junior high school students.This paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the problems existing in Chinese extracurricular reading in rural areas,and puts forward the countermeasures of Chinese extracurricular reading teaching in rural junior high schools.The research is mainly to improve the current situation of extracurricular reading of middle school students in rural areas,and to provide extracurricular reading guidance methods for rural Chinese teachers to improve the quality of extracurricular reading in rural areas.The paper mainly includes five parts : the introduction part introduces the research background,research status and research methods.The first chapter defines the concept of extracurricular reading in junior high school Chinese,and defines the characteristics of Chinese extracurricular reading and rural junior middle school Chinese extracurricular reading,and explains the significance of extracurricular reading teaching in rural junior high school from the aspects of rural education revitalization work and teaching practice.The second chapter investigates the dilemma of Chinese extracurricular reading teaching in rural junior high schools.By issuing questionnaires to junior high school students in the author’s middle school and interviewing Chinese teachers,the author understands the current situation of Chinese extracurricular reading teaching in rural junior high schools,and makes a concrete analysis of the survey results.The main problems are that the initiative of extracurricular reading in rural junior high schools is not strong,the support of extracurricular reading is not enough,the reading method is not appropriate and lacks reading activities,and the time and amount of extracurricular reading are few.In the third chapter,according to the characteristics of middle schools in rural areas,specific measures are put forward for the existing problems of Chinese extracurricular reading teaching in rural junior high schools.Schools should pay attention to the unique characteristics of rural middle schools,make use of the differences of students in rural areas to enrich extracurricular reading,and strengthen scientific management.At the same time,we should provide students with extracurricular reading conditions.Teachers should start from the study of the personality characteristics of rural junior high school students,on this basis,carry out extracurricular reading activities,enhance students’ reading initiative,strengthen reading method guidance,guide students to formulate reading plans independently,improve the reading level of rural junior high school students and promote the development of their literacy in all aspects.The fourth chapter takes the author’s middle school as an example,presents a typical case of extracurricular reading teaching of classical novels,makes full use of the characteristics of rural middle schools,designs teaching activities,and further demonstrates the advantages of extracurricular reading in rural middle schools.Strive to improve the rural junior high school extracurricular reading through various efforts,improve the efficiency of students’ extracurricular reading,and promote the comprehensive and healthy development of middle school students in rural areas. |
