With the implementation of the new textbooks,Chinese teaching in primary and secondary schools has put forward higher requirements for teachers and students.The new textbooks pay special attention to students' reading,pay attention to cultivate students' interest in reading,pay attention to the extension of Chinese class to extracurricular reading.In-class reading and extra-curricular reading are the two wings of the new textbook,both of them are equally important to Chinese learning.Nowadays,with the continuous reform of Chinese curriculum,extra-curricular reading has obviously received more attention.But at present,the situation of extracurricular reading of junior middle school students in rural areas of Northern Shaanxi is still very serious.In order to make the extracurricular reading can really went into the countryside junior middle school students study life in Northern Shaanxi region,to improve their language literacy,this paper,taking Yulin City Suide County Cuijiawan middle school students as subjects,using questionnaire to collect data,to explore suitable for Northern Shaanxi area countryside junior middle school students' reading strategy,true to their Chinese learning provide beneficial help.The paper is divided into four parts: the first part,introduction.It mainly includes the basis and purpose of the topic selection,research status at home and abroad,research contents and methods.In the second part,a questionnaire survey is conducted on the students' interest and attitude in extra-curricular reading,the amount and content of reading,and the influence of teachers and parents on extra-curricular reading.The third part analyzes the current situation of extra-curricular reading in Suide County,and explores the problems and causes in extra-curricular reading.In the fourth part,aiming atthe existing problems of extra-curricular reading in Cuijiawan middle school,puts forward some thoughts on improving the reading ability of rural junior middle school students in northern Shaanxi.
