Secondary vocational education shoulders the important task of training technical management talents and high-quality laborers who can adapt to the needs of industrial development.Secondary vocational school students are young and malleable,both body and psychology need to be correctly guided in the teaching process.Wood is nurtured and the pillars are formed.The core quality of physical education and health discipline in secondary vocational schools,as the combination of discipline and core quality,is the concentrated embodiment of the value of fitness education.It is self-evident that athletic ability is the most basic and relatively externalized primary quality.In this context,Combining the vocational characteristics of students in secondary vocational schools,the article uses the core literacy theory as the basis and curriculum standards as the framework,and uses the literature method and Delphi method to construct a motor ability evaluation index system for secondary vocational school students;Factor analysis and mathematical statistics are used to validate the system;the empirical part uses the data collected through questionnaires to analyze and evaluate the system,and puts forward targeted suggestions.There are also innovations in the framework in order to improve students’ athletic ability while cultivating the concept of lifelong sports.The main findings are as follows:Firstly,based on the core literacy theory,related policy documents,academic achievements,and targeted evaluation indicators are screened closely around the theme of "athletic ability of students in secondary vocational schools";Secondly,using the Delphi method,the index system of athletic ability evaluation of students in secondary vocational schools was formed,which consists of 5 first-level indexes,17 second-level indexes,and 47 third-level indexes.Secondly,the system was verified,The first step: reliability test.Cronbach’s αcoefficients of total scale and subscale were higher than 0.8.Step 2: Exploratory factor analysis to explore the relationship between factors and corresponding terms.The verification results were as follows: KMO value exceeds 0.7,Bartlett sphericity test value reached the significance level,and the factor loading of each item of the scale is greater than 0.5;Step 3: Confirmatory factor analysis was carried out.The factor load coefficients of problem items corresponding to all variables are greater than 0.6,the error variation was significant,and the fitting value of the fittest index reaches the standard recommended value.Finally,content validity,convergence validity,and discrimination validity were tested.The test results show that the standardized factor loading of each dimension is higher than 0.6,AVE value is higher than 0.5,CR value is higher than 0.8,AVE square root value of each latent variable of the scale is above 0.7,and exceeds the maximum correlation coefficient of other latent variables.Therefore,the scale has good overall validity.Then,the weight of each index was determined by evaluating the standardized factor load coefficient of each dimension of the model.In order of importance,the first level indexes are physical condition(0.325),sports cognition(0.237),sports exhibition and competition(0.204),technical and tactical application(0.130),and safety awareness(0.104).The secondary indicator with greater weight is physical fitness(0.348),thinking ability(0.374),tactical level of learned events(0.341),sports participation(0.330),and self-safety(0.556).The third-level indicators are BMI(0.503),prone lying and back extension(0.214),clear understanding of their own technical movements(0.279),relatively skilled mastery of one or two motor skills(0.521),cardiac resuscitation,drowning rescue knowledge and skills(0.543)etc.Finally,on the basis of the constructed evaluation scale,332 students from five schools were selected by the method of random sampling survey to carry out a demonstration on the athletic ability of students in Yantai secondary vocational schools.The results show that the athletic ability of boys(73.44)is higher than that of girls(69.51).The athletic ability of the third grade students(74.68)> that of the first grade students(70.25);Athletic ability of urban students(74.91)> athletic ability of rural students(70.03),The results of the evaluation were presented to the five schools,and each school found them to be generally consistent with the actual situation,which shows that the constructed system is reasonable and applicable to a certain extent.By analyzing the demographic differences of students in the five schools,the indicators that restrict the improvement of athletic ability can be identified and targeted suggestions can be made so that athletic ability can be effectively improved.
