It is clearly pointed out in the Outline of the National Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)that quality education in colleges and universities should focus on teaching students based on their aptitude.The hierarchical and progressive teaching model has provided a novel way for us to discuss individualized physical education in colleges and universities in the process of promoting this field.However,after reviewing related research of hierarchical and progressive teaching model in the field of physical education,it is found that indicators of its elements are not clear.In addition,teaching strategies and teaching design still need to be enriched,and there are some deficiencies in theory and practice as well.Therefore,it is necessary to construct a set of scientific and effective indicators system of elements for hierarchical and progressive teaching mode,providing theoretical basis and practical reference to boost the growth of its scientific design and effective application in physical education in universities and colleges.Under this context,this study,based on teaching of "elective courses of table tennis" in colleges and universities,takes indicators system construction and empirical research of hierarchical and progressive teaching mode as the research object.Documentary method,expert interviewing,Delphi method and experimental method are used to construct the element indicators system of hierarchical and progressive teaching mode of table tennis with practicality and operability.The efficiency of this teaching model is examined in practical teaching.It is expected to provide some theoretical basis and practical reference for hierarchical and progressive teaching mode of table tennis in colleges and universities.This also offers some new ideas for implementation of hierarchical and progressive teaching mode of other kinds of sports in colleges and universities.In this experiment,two classes(Grade 2022)of optional table tennis course in Guangzhou Institute of Sport were selected as experimental subjects,and randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group.Among them,the experimental group was marked as Class 1,including23 students;the control group was marked as Class 2,including 21 students.In order to ensure the smooth process of the experiment,the students who could not participate in the whole teaching experiment were excluded.Finally,20 students participated in the experimental group and 20 in the control group in the teaching experiment,with a total of40 students.The main research conclusions are as follows:Documentary method,expert interviewing,and Delphi method are used to determine element indicators system of hierarchical and progressive teaching mode of table tennis,which consists of 5 first-level indicators(including hierarchical student,target,teaching,feedback and adjustment,evaluation),13 second-level indicators and 40 third-level indicators.The teaching experiment chose physical quality,sport skills,study interest and course satisfaction as four indicators.The data of experiment show that expect for physical quality,student’s sport skills,study interest and course satisfaction are increased through both hierarchical and progressive teaching mode and traditional teaching method.Moreover the result of hierarchical and progressive teaching model is better than that of the traditional teaching model in these three aspects.In summary,the teaching efficiency of hierarchical and progressive teaching model is superior to traditional teaching method,which indicates that applying hierarchical and progressive teaching model in elective courses of table tennis in colleges and universities is scientific and reasonable,with certain reference and practical value.Application of hierarchical and progressive teaching mode in table tennis courses is conducive to carrying out concept of teaching students based on their aptitude and implementing quality education. |
