The world has entered a new era of science, and scientific education is an important component of cultivating national scientific literacy. With the increasing attention paid to science popularization capacity building and the requirement to strengthen scientific education in the context of "double reduction" in education,it is an important task for us to inspire the curiosity, imagination, and desire for exploration of young people and cultivate a group of young people with the potential to become scientists and willing to dedicate themselves to scientific research. The cultivation of innovative young talents with core scientific literacy is a topic that we need to explore.Teacher is the key to talent cultivation, and the quality of science teachers’ teaching is an important factor affecti ng the smooth progress of science education. As the main force of the future science teacher team,pre-service science teachers’ professional development directly affects the output of science and innovation talents. The museum-school collaboration is an i mportant way to effectively combine educational activities between school education and science and technology museum education.Science and technology museums have characteristic functions such as education, public, social, process, and interactivity. The y can complement the relatively closed school education environment, limited learning resources, and backwardness, mobilize the efforts of universities and science and technology museums, and jointly cultivate specialized science teachers, which can promote the high-quality development of science education in China.Based on the research of pre-service science teacher’s professional development through the museum-school collaboration,it provides new ideas for the cultivation of high-quality innovative science teachers and creates a new path for the comprehensive improvement of pre-service science teachers’ quality. This paper mainly uses research methods such as literature research, questionnaire survey, interview survey, comparative analysis, and experimental method to explore the training support for pre-service science teacher’s professional development under the museum-school cooperation mode from the perspective of combining science and technology museum training resources and the characteristics of informal education. The goal is to enrich the ways of professional development for science teachers and further improve the science teacher training mechanism, thus providing a reference for improving the quality of science teachers and promoting science education reform and development. The study of this dissertation had been divided into the following parts. The first part introduces the reason for the topic selection, research purpos e and significance, research content and innovation, research methods and ideas, and summarizes the research literature on the theme of the professional development of preservice science teachers at home and abroad and the support of the cooperation model of museum-school for the professional development of pre-service science teachers. The second part introduces the core concepts and theoretical basis of this paper. The third part is to investigate the current situation of professional development of pre-service science teachers by questionnaire, explore the internal needs of professional growth and career development of pre-service science teachers and their expectations for professional development support in the cooperation of museum-school,and analyze the existing problems from the three basic aspects of professional knowledge, professional ability and development consciousness. The fourth part, from the perspective of international comparison, summarizes the current domestic and foreign training experience for supporting the professional development of pre-service science teachers through science and technology museums.Analyze the basic strategies and training models for fostering science teachers through museum-school cooperation, and thereby gain corresponding insights to guide practical research.Based on the above research,a training project with the themes of "A Lesson in Aquatic Life Museum" and "Exploration and Simulation of Earthquake Science Education" was designed.Through practical cases, the principles and strategies of activity development are initially explored and analyzed from the aspects of the purpose, implementation, measurement and evaluation of science teacher training activities in science and technology museums, and the effectiveness of cooperation between museums and schools in supporting the professional development of pre-service science teachers is experimentally tested. The research results show that the training based on the real situation of science and technology museums has obvious advantages, which can effectively improve the understanding of science and knowledge of pre-service science teachers, and can help pre-service science teachers better carry out museum-based teaching in the future.Part V: The fifth part summarizes the full text, and puts forward the following suggestions to support the professional development of pre-service science teachers in our country according to the research results: Improve the cooperation support mechanism of museums and schools to help carry out all-round and multi-level training
