A Case Study On Social Work Intervention In Correcting Deviant Behaviors Of Children Without Parental Car

With the development of the cause of child welfare.“Fact orphan”has been formally included in the national security scope,this group has gradually been concerned by the community.But the reality is that the plight of children who have no one to raise them is even more severe and embarrassing as a difficult group on the“Fringes of society”,there are all kinds of deviant behaviors because of the deviation of their own ideas and behaviors,the lack of child discipline,and the weakness of social support.These behaviors not only affect their own healthy development,but also a negative impact on social harmony and stability.Guided by the theory of social ecosystem and the theory of social support,this paper takes Tongtong as the object of service,and uses the method of case work to intervene the deviant behavior of the object of service,with a view to exploring reasonable ways to correct the deviant behaviors of the unsupported children in the course of practice,to correct the irrational cognition and behaviors of the service object,to improve the child discipline model,and to construct a social support network,promote the healthy growth of service object.In guiding the practice of social work,ecosystem theory emphasizes that the analysis of the causes of the problems of the service object is not a simple personal attribution,the focus of the assessment of personal problems is not only on the internal physiological or psychological behavior characteristics of the clients,but also on the characteristics,functions and operation of the external environment at all levels related to the problems of the clients.Therefore,the deviant behavior of the service object has a great relationship with the surrounding environment,to correct the deviant behavior of the service object also needs social workers to intervene from multiple systems of the service object,building a relatively complete social support network,through the common role of the various systems to help the healthy growth of the service object.In practice,social workers help the clients to realize their potential,change their irrational beliefs,correct their cognitive bias and establish correct cognition,to give emotional support to family members,to release their emotions,to reduce their psychological stress and to strengthen the interaction between family members and to enhance family support;at the school level,give full play to teachers and students to support the role.In addition,through linking community resources,building community activity platform,strengthening community support for service objects,and linking relevant social organizations and volunteers to provide professional services for service objects.In order to help the clients perfect the social support network,thus subtly help the clients correct their deviant behavior and promote their physical and mental health development.In the course of case service,social workers make full use of professional skills such as listening,encouragement,support,empathy and respect to understand the problems and needs and respond in a timely manner,to help the clients change their irrational beliefs,to help build the social support network,to provide long-term support for the clients,and to make the clients grow up healthily.After the end of the case service,the assessment found that the deviant behavior had been significantly improved,and there were also significant improvements in learning and interpersonal skills.Therefore,with the help of many parties,the social case work has certain effect on correcting the fact that no one is raising the children.
