Due to the accelerated socialization process and the spread of urbanization rhythm, the inadequate and unbalanced development in various parts of China has been fully revealed in the case of street minors. In the process of constructing and developing the rescue system for street children in China, the psychological and behavioral aspects of street minors have received extra attention in recent years. The deviant psychology and behavior of street minors due to individual, family and social reasons have a certain negative impact on their individual social development, and to some extent restrict the group development and socialization activities. If the problem of deviant psychology and deviant behavior of vagrant minors is found and solved through professional social work methods in time,it has far-reaching effects on preventing crimes of vagrant minors and guiding their group to return to society.Based on this background, this paper selects Pan,a vagrant minor from Wuhu rescue station,as a case study to study and develop Pan as a service object for case intervention. The aim is to improve the self-awareness of the client and correct the deviant behavior problems caused by deviant psychology, such as violent behavior and theft.Through the professional intervention, the client was eventually helped to correct the deviant behaviors, eliminate the deviant behaviors in wandering, improve the cognitive ability of the client, maintain good behavioral habits, and achieve the ultimate goal of returning to the family and school system. In the specific study, the author firstly recorded the behavior and habits of the vagrant minors in Wuhu rescue station through participatory observation, and fully investigated and collected the information of Wuhu rescue station to establish the basic information base, such as the background and reasons for entering the station;secondly, the author combined the existing information and observation records with professional books and literature combing, and tried to analyze and dig out the specific reasons and causes of the deviant behaviors of the case owners. The author tried to analyze and explore the specific reasons and influencing factors of the deviant behavior. The Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs theory was used to analyze the needs of the client, and the dominant perspective theory was used as the guiding theory and perspective for the whole intervention process. Finally,we used the frequency table of the actual deviant behaviors of the clients to compare the changes of the clients before and after the intervention in order to evaluate and close the cases scientifically and objectively. The study concluded that the social work case intervention on the deviant behavior of Pan,a vagrant minor, effectively improved the deviant psychology and corrected the deviant behavior of the case owner, and helped the case owner return to society. However, the role and status of social workers in specific rescue stations need to be improved. With this article, the author hopes to contribute to the development of the vagrant minors and social work profession. |
