Research On The Assistance And Education Of Juvenile Offenders Under The Rational Emotive Therapy Mode

Data show that in recent years,the juvenile crime rate has been on the rise,which has brought difficulties to the management of stable social security and affected the public’s sense of social security to a certain extent.How to provide practical and effective help for a series of problems such as poor social adaptation,psychological conflicts,and behavioral deviations for juveniles involved in crimes,and how to educate and guide them to recognize their mistakes,regain confidence and motivation for the future,and reintegrate into society has become an important issue faced by judicial social workers.This paper collects data with the help of participatory observation,in-depth interviews and scale methods,takes the rational emotion therapy model as the guide,uses the method of casework to intervene in the help and education of juveniles involved in crime,and explores the applicability and effectiveness of social work intervention in the help and education of juveniles involved in crime under the guidance of rational emotion therapy model.The cases were selected from the juveniles involved in the crime of the "Youth Zone" project in Area X,who explored the cognitive thinking patterns,family relationships,peer interactions,etc.of juveniles involved in crimes through social investigation and problem diagnosis of service targets,and used rational emotion therapy mode to intervene to help Little W,Little H and Little P find out irrational beliefs,correct bad behaviors,and finally achieve the purpose of establishing rational beliefs so as to smoothly return to society.This paper concludes that first,the casework model can analyze the needs of service targets from a professional perspective and formulate personalized services for them,which has a positive effect on the help and education of juveniles involved in crimes;Second,the rational emotion therapy model can enable the client to find irrational beliefs that exist in the depths of their hearts,and can help them establish reasonable beliefs for an active and healthy life through argumentation,which in turn can help guide the resocialization of juveniles involved in crimes.Third,the help and education of juveniles involved in crimes requires the joint efforts of many parties.
