The “Critical reading and expression” task group,which focuses on cultivating students’ rational thinking and rational spirit,is the first time that it has been integrated into the national compulsory education language curriculum standard structure,it is also one of the innovations in the revision of the Chinese curriculum standards for compulsory education(2022 edition).This study was guided by critical thinking theory,constructivist education theory,and intellectual theory of the structure of thought,using questionnaire survey,Interview Survey,Lesson Study and participant observation as research methods,the subjects of the survey were teachers and students of G secondary school in Wuxi,China,to investigate the current teaching situation of the “Critical reading and expression” task group in the school,and analyze the existing problems and reasons through the data obtained,on this basis,the feasible teaching strategy of the task group is put forward.This paper consists of six chapters: the first chapter is the introduction,which discusses the origin of research from the aspects of rational thinking,the image age,the new curriculum standard and so on,a literature review of the Critical reading and expression task group was conducted,and the design of the study was elaborated from three aspects: research ideas,methods and innovations;The second chapter is about the connotation and characteristics of the task group “Critical reading and expression”in junior high school.The connotation of the task group is analyzed from three aspects: the definition of core concepts,the relationship with other task groups,and the necessity of the task group,the third chapter is about the teaching content and the teaching basis of the task group teaching of “Critical Reading and expression” in junior high Critical reading,first,according to the structure of the two-line component,the teaching content of this task group is sorted out by table,and then the teaching basis of this task group is explored,which is divided into course standard requirement and theoretical basis,chapter four is about the current teaching situation of the task group on “Critical reading and expression”,using data from student questionnaires and interviews,clarify students’ level of critical thinking and the teaching of the“Critical reading and expression” task group,the fifth chapter explores the teaching strategies of the “Critical reading and expression” task group,based on the above findings,this chapter proposes the corresponding teaching strategies from five dimensions,and the sixth chapter is the analysis and design of the “Critical Reading and expression” task group teaching cases,this chapter refers to two typical teaching cases of the task group in junior high school,according to the requirements of the Learning Task Group and the results of the research above,and analyzes the case,based on the text of the second unit of the ninth grade Chinese volume of Junior Middle School compiled by the ministry,starting from the four main points of learning goal and content,situation and task,learning resources,Evaluation and design,design unit teaching as a whole.Through this research,I hope to explore the teaching strategies of the “Critical reading and expression” task group,integrating factors such as core literacy,situational tasks,and Critical Thinking Tools,the task group of “Critical Reading and expression” has been transformed into the practice of the discipline,which can provide some guidance for the actual teaching and evaluation of teachers in the future.
