Objective: Excellent strength and agility are helpful for basketball players to complete various technical tactics on the court, thereby improving their sports performance. Therefore, based on the analysis of the physical fitness requirements of female basketball players, this study compares the effects of conventional resistance training(RT)and complex training(CT)on the strength and agility improvement of female basketball players.Method: Literature review was used to understand the training requirements of female basketball players, and experimental methods were used to conduct a 18-week training intervention on 16 professional female basketball players(8 weeks of RT,2 weeks of rest,8weeks of CT).Before and after the two stages of training, the athletes’ One Repetition Maximum bench press(1RM BP),One Repetition Maximum back squat(1RM BS),seated medicine-ball throw(SMT),counter movement jump(CMJ),505 test(505-T)and Illinois run(IRT)were tested, and the results were analyzed using one-way repeated measures analysis of variance. Results: The results showed that(1)there were significant differences in 1RM BP between RT before,RT after,CT before, and CT after(F = 164.056,p <0.001).The 1RM BP of RT after was significantly improved compared to that of RT before(p <0.001),and the 1RM BP of CT after was significantly improved compared to that of CT before(p <0.001)and RT after(p <0.001);(2)there were significant differences in lower limb 1RM BS between RT before,RT after,CT before, and CT after(F = 187.754,p <0.001).The 1RM BS of RT after was significantly improved compared to that of RT before(p <0.001),and the 1RM BS of CT after was significantly improved compared to that of CT before(p <0.001)and RT after(p <0.001);(3)there were significant differences in upper limb explosive power SMT between RT before,RT after,CT before, and CT after(F = 57.335,p <0.001).The SMT of RT after was significantly improved compared to that of RT before(p <0.001),and the SMT of CT after was significantly improved compared to that of CT before(p <0.001)and RT after(p <0.001);(4)there were significant differences in CMJ between RT before,RT after,CT before, and CT after(F = 124.406,p <0.001).The CMJ of RT after was significantly improved compared to that of RT before(p <0.001),and the CMJ of CT after was significantly improved compared to that of CT before(p <0.001)and RT after(p <0.001);(5)there were significant differences in 505-T scores between RT before,RT after,CT before, and CT after(F = 18.45,p <0.001).The 505-T of RT after was significantly reduced compared to that of RT before(p <0.001),and the 505-T of CT after was significantly reduced compared to that of CT before(p <0.001)and RT after(p <0.001);(6)Before RT,after RT,before CT,and after CT,there were significant differences in IRT(F=18.45,p<0.001).IRT after RT was significantly lower than before RT(p=0.004);IRT after CT was significantly lower than before CT(p<0.001)and significantly lower than IRT after RT(p<0.001)and before RT(p<0.001).Conclusion:(1)Both complex training and traditional resistance training can effectively improve the strength and direction changing ability of female basketball players;(2)Complex with the traditional resistance strength training method, the complex training method optimizes the explosiveness and direction changing ability of female basketball players in the short and medium term;(3)Complex training method can be used as a training method to improve the explosive power and changing direction of female basketball players. |
