| Regional geography features contain the thought of geography discipline,it is very important to promote the cultivation of students’ core literacy,understand the geographical features of different scale regions,and can play a great role in promoting students’ ability of geographical observation and comparison,analysis and reasoning,induction and summation.From the perspective of compulsory geography curriculum,the description of regional geography features is the basis of developing students’ regional cognitive ability.Therefore,choosing the teaching mode of regional geography teaching rationally is an important way to develop students’ geographical thinking and ability,train students’ core accomplishment of geography discipline and promote students’ all-round development.After the reform of geography curriculum standard in 2017,a large number of teachers began to choose thematic teaching in the front-line teaching based on the core literacy of students,and some research results show that thematic teaching model has unique value in cultivating core literacy of students.However,the research on thematic teaching in geography is in its infancy in China,and there are few researches on thematic teaching in junior middle school.The new compulsory geography curriculum standards for 2022 will be issued with the aim of improving core attainment and guiding students towards geography that is useful for lifelong development.Geo-themed teaching holds that geography teachers need to break down and integrate the knowledge system of geography in order to design a complete geography themed teaching design,and to apply the overall design of the relevant topics from the perspective of life around the close connection between the knowledge of geography,students,and the experiences of students.Combining the comprehensive,regional and practical characteristics of geography,this paper designs flexible and diverse geographical themed activities based on different coursework types,guides students to study around the theme,and in the process,constructs knowledge,improves thinking,strengthens ideas and expands abilities,so as to better cultivate students’ core geographical literacy.Based on this research,this paper discusses the design of regional geography themed teaching in junior middle school.It is also for practical and useful purposes,and aims to provide some references and suggestions for the future improvement of geography themed teaching.The guiding standard of this paper is the compulsory geography curriculum standard(2022 edition),which takes geography core literacy as the guiding foundation,and then constructs it together on the basis of many theories.On the basis of literature reading and data collation,this paper defines the concept of thematic teaching,and analyzes the suitability of thematic teaching characteristics and flow,thematic teaching and regional geography teaching in junior middle school.Then through the text analysis,this paper systematically combs and analyzes the theme name,design structure and design content characteristics in the teaching design case,and analyzes and designs the geography theme and the geography themed teaching design from the theoretical aspect.The specific contents include the selection basis of geographical theme,the goal design of geographical thematic teaching design,the activity design,the situation design and the evaluation design.Finally,from the perspective of contextual teaching and knowledge construction,the case is designed and demonstrated.The main findings of this paper are as follows: the design of thematic teaching is helpful to the development of students’ core literacy;The thematic teaching and junior middle school regional geography teaching are suitable;Construct the regional geography themed teaching design process of junior middle school;This paper presents a complete case of regional geography themed teaching design in junior middle school and presents the design ideas and methods of regional geography themed teaching in junior middle school intuitively. |
