Regional cognition is one of the four core qualities of geography.Regional geography is an important part of high school curriculum and the most important carrier to cultivate regional cognition.High school regional geography is a difficult point in the teaching process due to its various and comprehensive contents.Therefore,it is of certain theoretical and practical significance to discuss the thematic teaching of high school regional geography from the perspective of regional cognition.This article is based on the current educational development background,subject background,regional geography curriculum teaching background;combing the literature on regional topic teaching,regional cognition training,etc.,reviews the results of the literature,and confirms the significance of this research.Under the guidance of the theory of regional cognition,behaviorism,cognitivism,and constructivism,combined with the actual situation of work,the current situation of regional cognition training is analyzed with test questions as the carrier.The development of the region is unfolding,and students have weak regional geography knowledge,insufficient ability to acquire regional information,and emphasis on conclusions and less on processes.Attempt to put forward the principles and implementation steps of regional thematic teaching:the theme of curriculum standard formation,the theme of curriculum resource determination,the theme of creating context,the theme of problem design research,and the theme of thought structure induction.In this teaching mode,we construct real-world scenarios,attach importance to the classroom teaching process,improve the ability to acquire information,and attach importance to student thinking modeling.Finally,take"comprehensive development of the river basin" as an example to conduct a practical research on the topic-based problem teaching from the perspective of regional cognition.This paper discusses how to carry out the course teaching under the guidance of regional cognitive literacy and how to promote the realization of regional cognitive literacy.This paper is the implementation of the core accomplishment of geography in class,which has certain practical significance.
