As an important part of the senior high school language curriculum,the "Study of Classics of Chinese Traditional Culture" learning task group provides new ideas of the infiltration of excellent Chinese traditional culture in the language curriculum,and it has irreplaceable teaching value in cultivating students’ national spirit,nourishing cultural sentiment and realizing value leadership.However,since the implementation of the learning task group,there is not much difference between the teaching of "Chinese traditional culture classics" and the teaching of ancient poetry in the past,and how to deal with the relationship between single-part lectures and unit teaching has become an important problem for the teaching of the learning task group.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct a study on the teaching of the " Study of Chinese Traditional Classics " learning task group.This paper identifies the textbook selections that correspond to the “Study of the Classics of Chinese Traditional Culture” learning task group.This cluster of learning tasks is the most significant in the optional compulsory textbook and is presented in four units,each with a different focus,but all working together to achieve the overall objectives.On the basis of this learning task group,interviews and questionnaires were used to grasp the current situation of teaching and learning in the "Study of Chinese Traditional Culture and Classics" learning task group,and to identify some typical problems in teaching practice: teachers’ lack of in-depth interpretation of the new curriculum;delayed updating of teaching methods;insufficient diversified assessment;students’ lack of higher-order learning skills;and the lack of a self-directed,collaborative and investigative approach.The teacher’s lack of understanding of the new curriculum;the lagging updating of teaching methods;the lack of multiple assessments;the lack of students’ higher-order learning ability;and the lack of a self-directed,cooperative and inquiry learning style.This is followed by a strategic exploration of teaching content,teaching methods,assessment and guidance in the implementation of the "Study of Chinese Traditional Culture Classics" learning task group,based on the problems that have arisen in teaching practice,and combined with specific teaching cases,the following teaching strategies are proposed: Firstly,the teaching content should be developed in a reasonable way.The content should not only focus on the text,but also on learning resources such as textbook illustrations,unit study tasks and extra-curricular materials;secondly,a variety of teaching methods should be used,such as creating realistic learning situations and using tasks to drive teaching;thirdly,a diversified assessment system should be constructed,including enriching the assessment content,formulating reasonable assessment scales and choosing appropriate assessment methods;fourthly,students should be instructed in reading methods,from determining the motivation to read to consolidating after reading.From determining the motivation for reading to consolidation after reading,teachers need to play a guiding role in all aspects.Finally,the unit on ancient poetry is used as an example,and the proposed teaching strategies are followed to develop a case study on the teaching design of the "Study of Chinese Traditional Culture Classics" learning task group.
