Research On The Adaptability Of Specialty Structure And Industrial Structure Of Higher Vocational Education In Suzhou

The coordinated development of higher vocational education and regional economy is the prerequisite for the sound development of regional economy and society,and also the inevitable choice for the high-quality development of higher vocational colleges themselves.During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period,the industrial structure of Suzhou was transformed and upgraded,and the tertiary industry became the pillar industry of Suzhou,and the employment demand of the three industries also changed.As the main front of training regional high-quality and skilled talents,higher vocational colleges should identify the leading industries and emerging industries in Suzhou,timely adjust their own professional structure,and take the initiative to serve and connect with the transformation and upgrading of regional industries.Therefore,the research on the suitability of the professional structure and industrial structure of higher vocational education in Suzhou is conducive to the deep integration of higher vocational education chain and regional industrial chain.This study first defines the basic concepts of "profession and profession structure,industry and industrial structure,and higher vocational education".Secondly,it discusses the industrial structure theory,human capital theory,education internal and external relations theory and supply and demand theory.Then,taking Suzhou City as the research object,using literature analysis method,statistical analysis method and other methods to analyze the development status of regional economy in Suzhou City,in-depth study of the characteristics of the internal structure of the three industries in Suzhou City,it is found that the level of the industrial structure of Suzhou city is not high,and there is a big gap between the Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou and Shenzhen.At the same time,17 higher vocational colleges in Suzhou are selected as the research object to describe the overall situation of the development of higher vocational colleges in Suzhou during the "13th Five-Year Plan",and in-depth study of the number of specialties,specialty distribution,specialty concentration,specialty cluster and specialty setting of 3 "double high Plan" colleges in Suzhou in 2020.Based on the relevant data of the professional structure and industrial structure of higher vocational education in Suzhou,this paper analyzes the suitability of the professional structure to the regional leading industries and strategic emerging industries by using the structural deviation index.According to the results of structural deviation,it is found that the professional structure of the primary industry has a good fit with the industrial structure.The proportion of specialty structure of secondary industry is less than that of industrial structure,and the number of specialty distribution is less.The proportion of tertiary industry specialty structure is larger than that of industrial structure,and the number of specialty distribution is too much.The problems in the compatibility between the professional structure and industrial structure of higher vocational education in Suzhou are as follows: unbalance of the matching degree,low degree of professional cluster,not obvious specialty characteristics,blindness in the setting of specialties,serious convergence of specialties,and weak ability of the leading industry and strategic emerging industry in the service area of the professional structure.This paper analyzes the reasons for the low suitability of the professional structure of higher vocational education and the industrial structure in Suzhou from the three aspects of government,society and school,that is,the lack of macro-control of the government and the unreasonable layout of colleges and universities.The deviation of professional cognition,the integration of production and education is not close enough;Colleges and universities have insufficient prediction and analysis of talent demand,and they set up majors randomly and follow the trend.Based on the above analysis,the paper puts forward that we should strengthen the macro-control of the government and optimize the professional structure.Professional setting should take the initiative to connect industries,and improve the suitability of professional structure and industrial structure;Deepening the integration of production and education,strengthening the cooperation of school and enterprise education and other countermeasures.
