The issuance of the Overall Plan for Deepening the Reform of Education Evaluation in the New Era in 2020 opened the curtain of China’s education evaluation reform in the new era.Learning evaluation,as an important part of education evaluation and the main link of higher continuing education teaching activities,affects the personal growth and development of adult learners from the perspective of learners;From the perspective of teachers,it affects teachers’ classroom teaching quality and their professional development;From the perspective of colleges and universities,it affects the quality of talent training.At present,the research on the learning evaluation of higher continuing education is carried out from the aspects of "influencing factors,current situation,strategies,methods and technologies",focusing on "online learning evaluation","supply side" and "theoretical level",while the comprehensive research is less.Therefore,this study uses developmental evaluation theory,self-directed learning theory,and Bloom’s educational goal taxonomy as theoretical support.Using the research methods of questionnaire survey,interview,and observation,it investigates the current situation of learning evaluation in higher continuing education in Yunnan Province.The survey results show that there are the following problems in the learning evaluation of higher continuing education in Yunnan Province: in terms of evaluation purpose,there is insufficient understanding of developmental evaluation purpose;In terms of evaluation subjects,In terms of evaluation subject,the composition of evaluation subject is single;In terms of evaluation content,it pays one-sided attention to the repetition and reproduction of knowledge;In terms of evaluation methods,qualitative evaluation is seldom used;In terms of evaluation results,the comprehensiveness and timeliness of feedback are low;In terms of evaluation timing,diagnostic and formative evaluation are ignored.After analyzing the causes of the problems through survey,it is found that at the level of learners,there are problems such as utilitarianism of learning motivation,weak awareness of learning evaluation subject,lack of learning evaluation time and energy,and lack of learning evaluation knowledge and ability;At the teacher level,there are some problems such as outdated learning evaluation concepts,low understanding of students,and low learning evaluation literacy;At the school level,there are problems such as the imperfect support technology of learning evaluation,the incomplete learning evaluation system,and the inadequate supervision of learning evaluation implementationBased on this,this paper proposes to improve the learning evaluation of continuing education for higher education in Yunnan Province: At the learner level,transform learning evaluation motivation,give play to the role of evaluation subject,reasonably plan learning evaluation,and improve learning evaluation literacy;At the teacher level,update the concept of learning evaluation,improve the understanding of learners,and improve the quality of learning evaluation;At the school level,strengthen technical support,improve the learning evaluation system,and refine the supervision and management work.
