| The role of thinking literacy in the process of talent training is becoming increasingly important, and teachers should also pay attention to the cultivation of students’ thinking literacy in language teaching.Teachers should pay attention to the cultivation of students’ thinking literacy in language teaching, which is conducive to students’ deep understanding of knowledge and can effectively improve students’ thinking literacy. In order to improve students’ thinking literacy in language teaching, teachers need to dig deeper into the content of the textbook to combine the text with thinking theory. This study uses questionnaires, literature research and case studies to investigate the problems of developing thinking literacy in high school novel teaching, which can be summarized into two aspects: teachers and students. On the teachers’ side, the teachers themselves lacked thinking literacy, did not master scientific thinking literacy development methods, were not good at using supplementary thinking tools, and did not expand resources for students to do comparative reading. On the student side, students do not give full play to imagination and association, image thinking skills need to be improved;students lack thinking methods to guide, not conducive to the development of logical thinking;students’ thinking is more confused, not conducive to the quality of thinking to improve. In order to solve the above problems, the author proposes the following teaching strategies according to the learning situation, the characteristics of the novel and the students’ thinking characteristics: using association and imagination to develop imaginative thinking;using thinking maps and comparative reading to develop logical thinking;making good use of thinking methods to develop thinking quality. The strategies given in this study are preliminary and need to be verified by the majority of language teachers. It is hoped that teachers will pay attention to the cultivation of thinking and fully integrate the characteristics of novels to cultivate students’ thinking skills. |
