| Qian Mu once said,“ The best traditional Chinese education system is the academy system ”.Chinese academies,which sprang up in the Tang dynasty,developed into a prosperous scene in the Ming dynasty.Its prosperity is not only reflected in the expansion of the scope of construction,but also the extension of functions and connotations.In the middle period of Ming dynasty,the Wu Academy first appeared on the historical stage in the social environment of the war and the prevalence of lectures.It teaches military tactics and strategy,the classical six art and other courses,with frequent interaction with local social and cultural.Besides,it is an important guarantee for the country to develop military equipment to resist the enemy from north and south,and it is also a key field to inherit the Confucian culture and advocate“knowing the truth and putting it into practice”.The development of Wu Academy in the Ming Dynasty,which was in rise and fall for several decades,has not only made a great contribution to the history of the academy,but also provided a new perspective for the study of academy education.But at present,no matter in the field of sports or academy,little attention has been paid to it.Therefore,in the view of social and cultural history,based on the historical development background of the Ming dynasty,this paper makes a systematic study on the Wu Academy of the Ming dynasty by the methods of literature study,comparative study,class analysis and interdisciplinary history.To explore the rise and fall by historical facts,Comb and explain the logic of development,analyze the interaction between Wu Academy and the social environment,reflect on the impact of history and extract contemporary enlightenment,can not only fills the gap of social and cultural history studies of Wu academies in the Ming dynasty,but also provids a historical mirror for the rising“Academy Fever” in colleges and universities.It is believed that the martial academies of the Ming Dynasty have developed martial talents to meet the demands of armaments,and their functions are specific to meet the social needs.But the development of the academies is due to personal trends,and its role limitation leads to its lack of social motivation.The monarch promotes the continuation of the academy,and the martial arts examination promote the practice of martial arts.However,the internal and external troubles of the imperial court worsened,and the origin of advocating literature has buried hidden dangers of decline.Deeply exploring the cultural interaction between the academy of martial arts in Ming dynasty and the social environment.It is believed that the martial arts academies in Ming dynasty has fostered the reserve of talents as a frontier in the environment of "frequent wars",highlighted the social control function in the ethical tone of "advocating morality and etiquette",developed talents loyal to the country under the national demand of "promoting learning and cultivating talents",improved local social education in the value orientation of "pragmatism",and met the needs of military and civilian culture in the frontier regions where "little knowledge of etiquette and morality" exists.At the same time,it is found that the martial arts academy of the Ming dynasty has a profound influence on the improvement of local humanistic education,which is specifically shown in creating a new environment for the breeding of people’s patriotism,providing a new platform for the development of people’s intelligence and the cultivation of people’s customs,opening up a new path for the talent output of local martial arts,and providing a new channel for the inheritance and development of local martial arts.In the new era,learning from the historical development of the Academy of Martial Arts in Ming dynasty can help to build ideological and political construction of curriculum,deepen the student value guidance,strengthen the integration of schools and places,intensify the responsibility of students,inherit the humanistic spirit,strengthen the cultural self-confidence of students,optimize discipline construction,carry forward the national traditional sports,learn from the Academy system,and innovate the martial arts education model.It will further promote the reform of contemporary martial arts education and the creative transformation and innovative development of traditional culture. |
