Malaysia is a multi-ethnic,multi-religious and multi-lingual country with the largest concentration of overseas Chinese compatriots.Cultural globalization is an irreversible international trend in the contemporary world.Cultural exchanges among countries are getting closer and closer. In recent years, scholars at home and abroad have paid much attention to music education in Malaysian Chinese schools and conducted many in-depth researches. The research results are relatively fruitful. However, there is still much room for analysis of individual schools, such as Dacai National Chinese Primary School.Dacai National Chinese Primary School has a history of more than 100 years since its establishment in 1910.It insists on teaching in Chinese and respects the cultural differences of folk music. It is based on the perspective of "cultural identity" that the school integrates the ethnic music culture of the world in the aspects of music teaching concept, curriculum and teaching content. It is a very typical Chinese primary school. This paper will focus on Dacai National Chinese primary School as the research object, using literature research, data analysis, questionnaire and other research methods, combined with the field research experience of Dacai National Chinese primary School, analyze the current situation of music education in this school.Through visiting,it is found that there are obvious differences between this school and most Chinese primary schools in the aspects of music education, such as teachers, teaching infrastructure construction, teaching content and form, and educational philosophy.I hope that the author can draw on the advantages of Malaysia’s national music education under the background of China’s "One Belt,One Road"initiative, constantly optimize the development of Chinese music education, and make a modest contribution to the bilateral cultural exchanges. The whole paper is divided into five parts:the first part mainly describes the purpose and significance of the research, research ideas and methods, literature review at home and abroad. The second part mainly analyzes the music education in Malaysia and the general situation of Chinese primary schools in Malaysia. The third part mainly analyzes the current situation of music education in Dacai national Chinese primary schools. The fourth part mainly puts forward reasonable suggestions for the future development of Dacai national Chinese primary school music education. The fifth part mainly expounds the conclusion of the subject and the prospect of the next step. |
