| In the 21st century, as intercultural communications among nations and races becoming more and more often in politics, economics, culture, education, and art etc., the word "Multiculture" has come into public sight quite frequently, and took an important role in more areas of human life, such as culture, philosophy, economy, as well as education. Multicultural trend has also influenced current high school music education, but different people have great divergence on the understanding of multiculture. Some teachers hold in esteem blindly, while some others totally repel it. It's well worth pondering over that how an on-job teacher shall apply the multiculture into high school music education, and find out the balance point between multiculture and traditional musical concept. Through author's analysis of music education in the high school she teaches and introspection over multicultural music teaching, this paper aims to explore a multi-cultural music education in high school in line with native development and supplies some proper experience and references.This paper contains four parts:Partâ… :Introduction.
