The value of the music appreciation course in secondary vocational schools is not only to teach students music knowledge and let students acquire music literacy,but also to allow students to combine the theoretical knowledge they have learned with practice,improve their comprehensive quality,and ensure that they have a very rich imagination after entering the workplace,and can refer to artistic means and methods,constantly innovate their own profession,and then obtain a higher level of professional knowledge.This is the essential difference between music appreciation teaching in secondary vocational schools and music teaching in other types of schools.For the important position of music appreciation in the curriculum,how to better cultivate talents who can be competent for the development of the industry has become a problem that we should pay attention to.Through my investigation of relevant literature,I found that the teaching of secondary vocational music appreciation combined with students’ career development is rarely carried out.Therefore,this paper will combine the characteristics of secondary vocational students,secondary vocational teaching,and secondary vocational music appreciation courses to carry out the teaching and research of secondary vocational music appreciation combined with professional situations.The specific ideas are as follows: First,the significance of implementing the teaching of vocational music appreciation in combination with the professional situation is expounded.Then,using questionnaire survey method and interview method,five problems arising in the process of implementing the teaching of secondary vocational music appreciation course combined with professional context were analyzed,and four teaching implementation suggestions were given around the teaching of secondary vocational music appreciation: 1.Expand the teaching content related to the profession 2.Use the situational teaching method to carry out teaching 3.Set up professional relevance indicators in the teaching evaluation process 4.Teachers need to further improve relevant comprehensive literacy.Finally,using the research analysis method and combined with the implementation suggestions,the occupational situation is applied to the teaching of middle vocational music appreciation,and the teaching analysis is presented with specific classroom teaching cases.
