With the increasing emphasis on national culture by the state, the introduction of revolutionary culture into campuses has become a trend.Revolutionary songs contain revolutionary historical culture and spirit.Teaching revolutionary songs in secondary vocational music appreciation courses not only enables students to gain cultural confidence in promoting excellent traditional culture, but also helps them establish correct worldviews, outlooks on life, and values while practicing core literacy concepts. This paper takes secondary vocational music appreciation courses as the entry point, focuses on students majoring in music performance in secondary vocational schools, and uses "constructivist theory," "educational reenactment theory," and "humanistic theory" as the theoretical basis for teaching and practice. It aims to cultivate students’ "cultural understanding and inheritance" literacy through the teaching of revolutionary songs in secondary vocational music appreciation courses. In the early stage, the paper employs the literature research method to conduct theoretical research on "cultural understanding and inheritance" literacy,"revolutionary songs," and "secondary vocational music appreciation courses," and completes the preparation of the revolutionary songs cognitive survey questionnaire, interview form, and cultural inheritance literacy test scale. In the middle stage, the questionnaire survey method is used to investigate the cognition of revolutionary songs among vocational students in a certain art vocational college. In the later stage, interview method, scale test method, and practical research method are used for research.Through interviews with secondary vocational teachers and students, better teaching strategies and methods are sought for teaching revolutionary songs in secondary vocational music appreciation courses. Two parallel music performance major classes from a certain art vocational college’s secondary vocational department are selected as the experimental class and control class.Four revolutionary song teaching cases, such as "Good Style of Soviet District Cadres," are designed. The control class continues with the previous teaching method, and the same teacher implements the experimental class teaching, constructing a scenariobased performance segment using revolutionary songs as teaching materials and implementing the newly developed lesson plans. The survey results show that secondary vocational students have a certain understanding of revolutionary songs, hope to learn more about revolutionary songs deeply, and are full of expectations for the teaching of revolutionary songs in secondary vocational music appreciation courses. Before and after the teaching practice, the "cultural understanding and inheritance" literacy of the students in the experimental class and the control class is tested and analyzed using scales. The results show that the learning interest(p<0.05)and "cultural understanding and inheritance" literacy of the students in the experimental class have significantly improved(p<0.05).Therefore,learning revolutionary songs is a good way for secondary vocational students to enhance their "cultural understanding and inheritance" literacy, and teaching revolutionary songs in secondary vocational schools can better improve the teaching effectiveness of the curriculum. |
