The cultural heritage has been passed down for five thousand years,and the struggle continues for a hundred years.With the rise of the national trend,history constantly reinforces people’s cultural confidence.This article aims to study the feasibility of inheriting and developing the traditional culture of Cantonese opera and its artistic value in the context of middle school art curriculum.Cantonese opera is an intangible cultural heritage of the world,and the traditional costume colors of Cantonese opera also have certain artistic value.As an excellent traditional culture of the region,while paying attention to the development of traditional culture,it is necessary to grasp the local cultural resources and incorporate them into the middle school art curriculum.Therefore,by integrating the traditional costume colors of Cantonese opera into the development of middle school art curriculum and designing teaching materials using self-shot photos of Cantonese opera costumes as artistic resources,this article aims to enhance students’ and teachers’ understanding and awareness of the local traditional culture of Cantonese opera,stimulate the inheritance and protection of Cantonese opera traditional culture,and strengthen cultural confidence.This article focuses on integrating the traditional costume colors of Cantonese opera into the development and application of middle school art curriculum.Starting from the colors of the traditional costumes of Cantonese opera,the research content is divided into five parts.The first part clarifies the purpose and significance of integrating the traditional costume colors of Cantonese opera into middle school art curriculum based on the current emphasis on the development and inheritance of traditional culture in China,and through literature review at home and abroad,it elaborates on the research status and methods.The second part discusses the feasibility of integrating the traditional costume colors of Cantonese opera into middle school art curriculum by presenting an overview,artistic value,and data analysis of the traditional costume colors of Cantonese opera.The third part,based on the theoretical foundation of transforming the traditional costume colors of Cantonese opera into teaching resources,develops a design strategy for integrating the traditional costume colors of Cantonese opera into middle school art curriculum.In the fourth part,the author designs teaching activities in the areas of " appreciation and critique," " integration and exploration," and " design and application" according to the actual teaching environment of schools,and reflects on the teaching issues through teaching practice.The fifth part summarizes and prospects the research findings.Although incorporating Cantonese opera traditional costume colors into junior high school art curriculum is still in the exploratory stage,with China’ s continuous emphasis on traditional culture education and the continuous advancement of the status of the art discipline,it is believed that it will become an excellent teaching topic in the future.
