Local red stories are the stories with local characteristics that the Communist Party of China has led the people in the process of new democratic revolution,socialist construction and reform and opening up.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to integrate local red culture into the teaching of "morality and rule of law" in junior high school.Theoretically speaking,it is beneficial to enrich the educational resources of moral and rule of law courses in junior high school and promote the study of localization of educational resources.From the perspective of practical significance,it helps to give play to the educating role of Red Story,enhance students’ love for their hometown,the Party and the country,and enhance students’ cultural confidence.This thesis takes Wuxi City as an example.Through questionnaire survey and personal interview,it is found that junior high school students have less understanding of local red stories in the "morality and rule of law" course,teachers have low enthusiasm in using local red stories in class,poor classroom teaching effect,lack of content and single form,and so on.The reason is that the society’s propaganda of local red stories is insufficient,middle school students’ learning initiative of local red stories is not high,teachers’ ability to skillfully integrate local red stories needs to be improved,and teachers’ insufficient digging of local red stories affects the application effect of local red stories in the classroom.In view of the problems and causes of the integration of local red culture into the course of "Morality and rule of Law" in junior high school,targeted application paths should be proposed from the perspectives of society,students and teachers.From the perspective of society,we should strengthen the social attention to the integration of local red stories into the course of "morality and rule of law" in junior high school.From the perspective of students,we should enhance students’ interest in integrating local red stories into the "Morality and rule of law" course of junior high school.From the perspective of teachers,students’ learning situation should be analyzed to be student-oriented,teaching material content should be integrated with local red stories,and teaching methods should be innovated to optimize teaching effects.It is necessary for all sides to work together to make the red gene and spiritual blood better guide the healthy growth of young people,and give full play to the role of "morality and rule of law" course in educating people.Finally,the thesis focuses on the story of "red capitalist" Rong Yiren and Huaxi Village getting rich as a case for teaching design and reflection after class,in order to provide teaching reference for more teachers.
