The construction of new engineering is a major battle in the field of national higher engineering education,which is characterized by new technology,new industry,new business form and new model.Focus on the future,reform the current,according to the future world’s demand for engineering talents to focus on the construction of new engineering,to cultivate outstanding engineering talents should be ahead of the market demand and can lead the development of the future industry.But with the increasingly fierce trend of competition of social talents,higher engineering education quality in our country is paid attention by the society from all walks of life,among which learning,as a prominent perspective of talents training,should become the key point of engineering field reform.Information technology and technology have brought about the renewal of learning methods,challenging the traditional knowledge acquisition process.Learning should be a more multi-dimensional,more comprehensive and more comprehensive cognitive mode,emphasizing the coexistence of rationality and intuition,emotion and skill sharing.The concept of learning power as a system includes not only learners’ emotional learning attitude,motivation and perseverance,but also learners’ cognitive learning strategies and methods,learning habits,as well as learners’ specific behaviors.It is an important way to promote the innovation of the existing higher engineering education model and adapt to the construction of new engineering.After systematically sorting out the demand for engineering talents in new engineering construction,based on the research results on learning power at home and abroad,this study established the learning power structure of engineering students by interviewing five groups of students,faculty,administrator,employers and parents,using qualitative interview method and text analysis method as the main research methods According to the interviews,students emphasize learning motivation and perseverance more,teachers and managers pay more attention to learning attitudes and strategies,and employers and parents pay more attention to learning behaviors and activities.According to the differences of groups,this study will construct the learning power structure of engineering students from the three aspects of learning cognition,learning emotion and learning action.By means of NVIVO qualitative analysis software and other means,the open,spindle and selective three-level coding process is used to further refine the learning power structure of engineering students: the learning power of engineering students is composed of emotional power,cognitive power and action power;Emotional power includes learning motivation,perseverance,and attitude represented by drive,willpower,and exploration,Cognitive power refers to learning strategies composed of discernment,integration,and self-effort,Action power includes the practical ability of execution,transformation and adaptability.On this basis,strategies and suggestions for improving engineering students’ learning power are proposed from the three dimensions of student level,education level and society level,so as to provide ideas and direction guidance for subsequent researchers to explore students’ learning under the background of new engineering,which has strong pertinence and practicability.Students,as active learners,should cultivate and stimulate their own academic interest and combine knowledge with practice.Teachers and administrators should enhance their own engineering literacy and pay attention to the cultivation of students’ practical ability in teaching curriculum evaluation activities.Employers and parents should play the role of starting point and ending point of talent training chain,and cooperate with universities to complete home-school and school-enterprise collaborative education. |
